japanophilia
That is not how they worded it. They were speaking in absolutes. You do not need to read it. Most of kitsune writing that is related to there plot is related to Kinu. Which I think is a bigger problem here. Since some players could miss majority of content if, you know, they dared to play without a dick.I mean, you don't have to read any of the writing in this game and then you would only be left with the sex scenes I guess. Still, what if you want some plot with that porn? I say that because some writing I kinda skip through to get to the "juicy" parts, but with odd writing like TObs I mostly skip ahead because it feels almost out of place and frankly, annoying and a little painful. To give a better critique I'd have to replay the kitsune storyline and I don't know if I want to do that again.
In the end, I'm just asking that the writing not make me feel like I'm in something... annoying? Uncomfortable? Weird? Rude? Something I can't place right now.
Most of the things that is written for rest of them as of now are character and culture related. And of sexual kind. Rindu is only one that really could make you feel uncomfortable since we are dealing with concept of you helping someone to get over there traumatic experience by fucking them. But we did that with Ryn so I feel nothing about it. Now, I am not writing off everything bad about him off. I have major problems with his writing, but I feel that most off it is not really related to his writing of kitsune. A lot of it feels like it belongs in the game. Since a lot of the game is talking about culture, its people then going about fucking them. Tobs is just the one that took it the furthest. And while this is obvious case of japanophilia, I do not see big problem here. The worst thing about it is that it is cliche. But to me it does bring down monotony of seeing creatures and cultures mostly taken from western influence.
