The biggest problem seems that TiTS is more about player freedom to create the character they want vs CoC2's more limited character options and the dev's seeming position that the player's character shouldn't feel important to the story.
Like in TiTS my character is a slime/dragon hybrid and I'm able to adjust her basically anyway I want vs in CoC where I liked the manticore tail because it was interesting but that option was removed due to no one writing many scenes for it.
Yeah this seems to be it, like in TiTS I have an Amazonian naga plant/dryad zaika hybrid and there is a lot of reactivity to my choices, but CoC 2 feels "bare".

The biggest problem is that the CoC2 writers just want to write their own stories about their own ocs but they've decided to shoehorn those things into CoC2 for marketing reasons. So you get to make your own character and roleplay to a degree but then you get to Suxxdix69's 500,000,000 word epic about his ocs who are totally irrelevant to the rest of the game and suddenly your character either becomes a quiet third wheel or turns into Suxxdix69's self insert regardless of how you played up to that point.

No, at least I hope so. The drawing just seems unfinished.
I’m really curious, because there are a bunch of things that look weird to me.
  • The rightmost minotaur’s face looks more like a dog snout than a cow’s muzzle. The fingers of his right hand look like they’re splitting into two at the tips.
  • The centre minotaur’s right hand looks like a birdclaw. There’s something off about how his shoulders and pectorals fit together.
  • The leftmost minotaur’s hand is melting into his face.
  • There are weird double-vision effects and transparencies, like the drinking-horn on the table(or at least that’s what I assume it’s supposed to be; it looks almost like a scroll), the head of the background minotaur on the left. On the bottom left of the table, you can see what appears to be a hallway with a door. The top of the image has a fold, as though this were footage from an old VCR cassette.
  • The background marble statues (are they supposed to be more minotaurs? If they’re supposed to be placeholders or pose studies, they’re very detailed) are completely wrong, with their pecs in particular being lopsided and having multiple lobes.
  • The level of detail is confusing. The rightmost minotaur at the table has detailed arm air on his left arm, when his left hand is still just a blob. Surely, if this were just a rushed piece, the artist would’ve spent less time on the background minotaurs in favour of finishing the hands on this guy, right?
  • The table doesn’t even have legs and just fades into existence. The minotaurs aren’t sitting on chairs, and no outline of a chair even exists.
Edit: typos.

So it's an allegory for the whole game then? I wonder if that was on purpose.

The Windows links on the first page all lead to Salamander Studios. Are these the actual links or did somebody mess up the uploads?

if those are supposed to be statues, the head on the right does not belong to a mino

I'm genuinely kinda curious about the general opinion on CoC2 atm, I've just read some the reviews like one of the recent ones being a long ass rant about the kitsune content :D and stuff which seems to mainly boil down to less choice, power fantasy variety and MC status influencing the story as it should than before? In the very least, the review score seems to have dipped a bit since I last checked ^^

For reference, I played like 2-3 years ago I think when the centaur village + Kitsune village was relatively new, only got to the part where I freed my fox waifu and did some of the early quests until I reached a content block with the kitsune village, but I can't say I recall it being particularly bad or anything when I personally experienced it compared to that long kitsune rant review.

I only remember it being a waste that you didn't have the option to add the daughter to your harem if you eventually wanted to for corruptions sake but other than that I liked it as it was then, so I'm quite curious as to how the game feels now when I've stacked so so many updates for it compared to when I last played.
(I'm doin the same thing with TiTs as I really enjoyed that game when I first tried it a few monthes ago so I'm curious about how CoC2's been.)
I'll expand on what I spoke of on my review. The entire game playing it from earlier versions feels disjointed. The main town feels like platform that became bloated. A dumping ground for player's unwanted companions. A bunch of NPCs there feel incomplete as well and forgotten. Then the areas around the town don't have any personality you have all three flavors of starting areas for the sake of starting locations. Woods check those are North, hills check those are east, and plains check those are south. Congratulations, Savin and co you just proved you have no grasp of why games try to make their starting areas feel unique compared to others.

Then the meandering starts. There is no attachment to any of these areas there are companions in the hills, yet why are we going there and ditto for the plains until the story takes you there. Yet there is still no reason for the hill area aside as a pick up spot for some companions. Moving north pass the starting area you get into a black hole of a time sink in the kitsune content which is needlessly bloated, imagine playing an Ubisoft game where you stumble upon an NPC that gives you a seemingly endless quest for NO reward. There is no pay off for this content and no amount of excuses can be made for what is essentially a massive waste of the players time for absolutely nothing. Yes, there is special companions you get from this. Yet, as discussed earlier there other areas you get companions for less then a tenth of time investment.

There's money sinks in various spots. These somehow just make the player feel more disconnect from the world. Want to save the town's orphanage. Your reward is a congratulations essentially while the rest of the town feels just desolate as before. No one cares what the champion does. The player is an isolated escort moving their party to locations to find more companions who do more than you. This is Skyrim if the dragonborn were ignored for their companions. This is Fallout NV if the ending slides spoke only of the winning faction. If you want to feel like a background character then CoC 2 does this masterfully.

Several writers have left since then. There's been overall less content added per update. Outright stupid shit like some pregnancies being limited to one-time deals. Lots of drama.
Stuff like that. Rating dip is deserved, and I think it hasn't dipped low enough.

The fucking immersion/pace breaking Kitsune daughter stuff that comes out of nowhere still baffles me to this day.

Savin/salamander was always the lead for CoC2, he paid Fen off to use the name to con people into thinking it was a legitimate sequel.

Installing CoC II 0.6.30 - Modded:
This mod created for "0.6.30 public" version of game, and this mod focused on your champion’s powers, easy fighting. So this mod doesn’t change storyline’s or added new story to game. Your save file in this modded game works and compatible with any version of game, because it doesn’t change checksum hash, your save file hash sum is a original and unique. (check the end of your save file with a text editor, you have a unique checksum hash and you are not a cheater!)

You can download the latest public version of game from " ".

NOTE: you can play this game in your browser, go to this path "game folder\resources\app", and open "index.html" file with your browser, for android or iphone, open this file in your phone file manager (like a File Manager+, X-plore, Total Commander, Ghost Commander, or …) with your browser like a Chrome, Edge, Brave, Vivaldi, Opera or …, and do not use the Firefox, it can not open the local files in your phone, this ability removed from this browser.

Installing: for installing mod copy all of content in the "Mod" folder into this path "game folder\resources\app" and replace them.

List of changes, for this mod:
1.in the character creation increased your maximum health ‹+100› point.
2.in the character creation increased your credits to ‹+9000000›.
3.in the character creation increased your exp to ‹+267500›. (max level to ‹7›)
4.i added ‹5› action points to your fighting, you have ‹5› action for fight, including any spell, tease or direct melee attack.
5.in the character creation added ‹24› extra perks to your champion. (don’t change your champion’s class in the game)
NOTE: if you change your champion’s class in the game, some of your perks with class flags will reseted to your new champion’s class, so you don’t have these perks with the class flags for your new champion’s class. (i could have been to change these perks flag to other or none, but i didn’t)
6.in the character creation added ‹50› resistance to all your defense.
7.in the character creation added ‹+11› to all your attribute stats, for "strength & cunning" attribute states ‹+12›. (starting bonus attributes)
8.in the starting game you have Runecleaver and Swift Sword, check your inventory.
9.in the character creation, for the human race i added "orange & white" hair, and for wyld elf races i added "black & white and ginger" hairs.
10.in the character creation you have long hair (ass-length) type, if you don’t want it go to stylist and cut it to short hair.
11.in the character creation you have a maximum virility, maximum "cum rate" per hour and high cum capacity for male or shemale gender. (you have a legendary orgasm!)
12.don’t choose Messy Orgasm for sexual perks, i added this perk from a begining.
13.in the character creation i added ‹+90› powers from the begining, included ‹6› ultimate powers By The Horns, Solar Cannon, Mind Snap, Berserkergang, Aurora Arrow, Aurora Of Vigor check your powers menu.
14.in the Hawkethrone location go to Leorah Shop, i added to many items for easy playing, check this. (hunter’s shop)
15.i added Wraithslayer’s Dreamblade in the Leorah Shop, check the shop to see this item. (this is the strongest weapon in the game)
16.i don’t change any weapons, armors and …, ? to create a new weapon, ability power or any new items, it makes your save file uncompatible with original version or next versions, because the new items does not exist in the other versions, and it makes a critical error.
17.all of these change’s can be writed in your save file.

The fucking immersion/pace breaking Kitsune daughter stuff that comes out of nowhere still baffles me to this day.
The kitsune content and by extension the soul content tries to do something like Skyrim did with sub-factions. You want to align yourself with a faction then do a questline however the game misses the mark. When you do something like the Dark Brotherhood or the werewolf quests do them because you were organically introduced to them. You discovered them while exploring on your own. Now with Savin model the main quest takes you to the werewolves and makes you fight an incredibly powerful one so you feel compelled to join. Then when you join the questline never ends and the main questline is effectively derailed.

The side factions do not have to be in the questline as they are. The execution here is ham-fisted and as is obstructs the main story. Which is already out of focus enough due to the player character effectively being an escort for characters who do not share our character's goals. The only analogy here is a D&D campaign that has lost its focus. You have several player's who have their own questlines they've introduced while vaguely tying it to the original premise. You have been in campaign since the beginning and everyone is ignoring you or just nodding to you occasionally when you try to reassert your character's presence in the narrative.

If they want to fix this hot mess then they need to trim off characters, currently there's too many loose ends. Rework the existing areas to better the narrative. In a good game you generally name the impact of the area on the story even in sandboxes. I.E, in GTA V you can generally say what happened where. Such as in GTA V where the downtown is generally where the big bank heists occurred or the more rural areas where train heists occurred. Give the player character more interactions in events. As is the player picks a choice and the narrative runs off. If you want to do this Talltell's better experiences gives a roadmap for how to allow the player to still feel like their choices had an impact. In the case of this game the player needs more choices to break up those massive paragraphs and reassert their presence in story.

I'd like to say I want to hope that this could be fixed however with the personalities here. The odds are stacked in favor of stagnation.

Positives you say? Just let me get my Bolter, I mean pencil to jot them down...
Sort of comes with the territory when every emotional interaction, response, thought, feeling and etc falls into one of the God's domains, courage for example is a positive of Khorne, or for Slaanesh ambition, the desire to better yourself and improve.

Chaos represents a primordial truth of reality, it's Deities a mixture of nuance and intricate domains both good and bad but all distinctly have a place in every member of sapient life, conversely Mollach is basically just a waste of space.

It's absolute shit.

I've written a rather long review presenting my points, so I don't feel like doing it again.

Anyway, tobs is a terrible writer, his OCs are stupid, boring and immersion breaking, his necessity to self insert proves that he is an amateur at best and the kitsune related content is the worst part of the game by far-- and also what destroyed it.
