A hypothetical.
Let's say CoC II Redone happens, and the team behind it finally gets their shit together:

-the world has good lore that doesn't contradict itself, instead building a comprehensive world
-combat/inventory/movement mechanics are smooth and good
-characters (npcs or companions if there will be any) are likeable and have good backstory, interactions and qeustlines
-the player character is in the spotlight again and the game is back to being a player-driven powerfantasy
-your choices in fact matter and game can be completed with various outcomes
-devs close all forms of communication, their forum circlejerk vanishing into the mist

BUT, there is a tradeoff:

-all characters are furries or scalies, at least the sexable ones
-all chatacters are futas and shemales, men and women barely existing
-lead dev's OC is back at it again being the (2nd this time) most important character in the story
-the devs write only their fetishes and nothing else, even if you don't like it
-updates don't happen until a piece of content is fully done and integrated with the rest of the game
-game bricks if you try to mod it

Do you take the trade? Does it make it better or worse for you? It's the only way I could see it happened if they actually buckled to all the (rigthful) criticism, while probably still keeping their schenanigans. Or that's my hypothesis, at least.
>the devs write only their fetishes and nothing else, even if you don't like it
Wait, where's the difference?
Ok, seriously, the way that you describe it sounds like a fine, but very niche product for furfags. IMO a good game is a combination of the technical component (game mechanics, optimization and performance - but the last two points are not our case, it's 97% text-based), the visual component and the plot. In its current state, CoC II is missing two of them (tech and plot, arts is ok), you have described the correction of just one and the complete degradation of the other two.
tl;dr - Your hypothesis is not a choice between bad and worse, it is not a choice at all. Same shitty state, different package.

This is an honest question because I have played in a long while so my memory is fuzzy. How much corruption is Kas actually responsible for in the setting? I know she was directly responsible for introducing imps, painted Demons, the corrupted plants, Behemoth and exposing the worst instincts of the elf queen. But it seems like there was already an evil cult before she got there, kitsunes who will rape you if you don't agree to feed them, orcs who will rape and enslave you, the minotaurs who if they get too rapey need to wear magical armor to turn them into bimbo cows, whatever Evergreen is up to and biggest red flag to me are the sex temples that groom kids to be prostitutes but I'm supposed to believe they didn't use those same kids as prostitutes. I also don't trust those so called gods.

I guess my point is that Kas isn't really that big of a threat because all she's doing is exposing how fucked up the realm truly is under the surface.
She's a threat because she wants to turn the world into Mareth. A deserted wasteland full of demons.

Focusing on the rape part isn't the issue; yeah there's a lot of that, but most of that stuff is confined to the rougher parts of the wilderness outside of the city. Harvest Valley for instance used to be considered safe to walk through for normal people before the events of the game.

Kass isn't just about sex. Remember, the demons in CoC1 had a standing army that had ravaged the land so badly it actually stop raining in Mareth, forever. And that one of the first things she aimed to do was rip open a hole in space (a hole behind which evil cross dimensional entities were lurking that almost destroyed the world btw) and try to bring over her army of dragon morphs.

Remember that Aileh and her sisters are supposed to be generals. They aren't there for kicks, they're an invasive force. She killed or incited the death of the entire nobility of Winter City, stole hundreds of souls of Mallachs followers basically for an experiment, etc.

Kass' end goal is pretty damn bleak, it's just that the sex part gets a lot of focus so it doesn't come off that way.

Officialy, her goal is to restore her soul or make her baby gain the strongest one, it's uneasy to separate. But in this case why did she bring an army of demons instead of coming to the local pantheon with a polite request for soul restoration in exchange for some knowledge/rarities from Mareth?

even tho i am on team furry it seems silly to make all charaters furries or scalies there must be variety.

Where is the save file location? I was having some UI issues and had to reload the game a few times and then my saves were freaking gone. So I know you can manually make a save file wherever you want but the automatic saves under "source" are where?

If it punished the player then no one would play it. This is a common problem with these kind of situations.

Baldur's Gate 3 has the perfect case in point. The mind parasite powers don't anything negative, you can use them as much as you want no problem. But the game framed it as if you were going to get punished for using them. As a result roughly 70% of the people who played the game didn't use them(based on the player stats Larian released a month or 2 ago).
So fun fact: taking the powers does have an effect. It makes

Ultimately, it's a matter of roleplay, and I kinda like the consequences mostly being cosmetic/roleplay. It makes the power genuinely tempting, and makes it so you are giving up something to remain normal. Power should be tempting, it should have benefits that you can't otherwise get. It takes getting turned into a mind flayer from "a fate worse than death" to "tempting offer."

So spinning that back into CoC2, I do think there should be a 'side with Kass' option. Maybe something like "fuck the gods, fuck this world, I'm going to cure my demon waifu/fall into corruption and fuck off to another world." But that would require either a significant turn in the story (unlikely outside of romancing her) or the option to go against a lot of the characters (completely outside the realm of possibility.) So... eh, I'm not holding my breath.

At first I agreed with you...

But then I more carefully read that guys post and noted that he is making a reasonable argument.
He is not saying MC should be punished for choosing team evil
He is saying that joining the literal demon should have logical consequences based on the demon's established personality and behavior.

Take a year long break from your job... how to tell me you've never worked an actual job without telling me you've never worked an actual job.
Porn game devs and their supporters are pretty insane. I could never just randomly take days off like these fucks do, the sheer amount of lenience they have is crazy.

I'm actually pretty envious about how easy they have it but in their position not doing the work that I'm overpaid as fuck to do would destroy me through guilt. They clearly have no such problems.

I was talking in general about how I always romanced Kas because the other choices have no content and thus are barely choices, and Alypia chimed in with her take.

Basically "just don't do it if you think it doesn't fit" which was a pretty meh opinion.
To be fair most of her opinions have come across as pure meh. So strange to think at one point I thought her inclusion would make the game better instead of worse like it has.

Comment approved by Savin, of course.

No one's asking for exclusive items when we're pursuing (or not pursuing) a relationship from an NPC. People are just pointing out that one choice has more content than the other, and it's the narratively wrong choice.

Then again, it is Alypia after all. They're the one that made a choice of corrupting the Hive then refuse to make content for the corrupt route because they don't want too.

Also is Alypia really a chick?
The question isn't her womanhood but her lesbianness. Her writing is so cock obsessed she should have her union card revoked.

I think she's just attracted to chicks with dicks. As I recall Ryn is her favorite and she'd written a Valk with a cock (which was a total snoozefest imo). In worlds like this where a little determination can make you grow a cock or a baby bag (or have both) gender and preference is a little bit more flexible.

I never liked her from the beginning. I didn't know why but I do now.
