Seriously though, how is this an example of corruption of the PC? Brint could have went to the priest by himself at any point, why is it solely the PC's responsibility? If Brint actually cared enough, shouldn't he pester the PC to go visit Sanders together? At worst, this paints the PC as a negligent dickhead that doesn't care too much about Brint's safety. At best, you can say the PC wanted to help Brint, but didn't have time/didn't think things would happen so fast because they only give you 4 fucking days. That isn't exactly a long time. In any case, how is the MC supposed to know the armor would completely flip his fucking gender in such a short amount of time? Meta-wise it's pretty obvious, but if I were in that situation, I would've had no clue he was going to turn into a chick in half a fucking week. Having a dream about getting fucked as a woman version of yourself and being really fucking horny, aren't actually strong symptoms to go off of. Especially when the PC's dreams are weird as fuck and everybody in that world is horny as fuck all the time.

The only extremely obvious hints they give you from a narrative standpoint, are meta ones where they tell you: "HEY GO TAKE BRINT TO THE PRIEST IF YOU DONT WANT ANYTHING TO HAPPEN!!!" In the quest log. But again, that's meta and not what our PC would actually think.

How is Evelyn corrupt either? I mean she has a dick sure, but from what I could tell, she acts the same as she did without the dick. She still sexually harassed her maids and everything.

This seems like TOBS just being a fucking idiot and pulling the "Omg our writing is just so big brained guys" bullshit when that isn't actually the case. If this actually a case of PC corruption, make our corruption value increase. But no, that isn't done because this isn't PC corruption. He's just spewing shit out of his ass and making this out to be a bigger deal than it is.

Thank fucking christ he can't get his grubby mitts on Brienne in any way.
Wsan has actually talked about the same thing.

More about the armor and the curse will be revealed later. How you treat it is somewhat meta, since if you just let it happen instead of going to Sanders it's presumed the player's cool with it -- it says in the quest log you can go and get it fixed. The only reason it doesn't give corruption points is that the player could plausibly plead ignorance, since the in-game character may not immediately think to go to Sanders. As for how you treated her, you know you don't have to fuck her the moment she comes out of the transformation. She offers herself up anyway. That's on you.

There will actually be an explanation for a lot of things about the armor during the conclusion of that plot arc somewhere in KM.
Wsan seems to be saying it's a corrupting action on the player's part, but there's some wiggle room on the PCs part.

Is it just me, or has the save editor not been updated in a looooooooooong while? The GitHub release says the latest one is from all the way back in 2018

EDIT: Looked at the actual repository, looks like some stuff was updated last month, to the--at the time--latest version (assuming that's v0.4.41)? So it doesn't seem to be abandoned, thankfully.

thank god :KEK:
"I'm salty as fuck because i sacrificed my very lifeforce [to Kaguya and Son Gohan] to deliver ten thousand word essays on all shapes and types of waifus, yet all people talk about is that fucking 2000 word scrub Brienne [doesn't even have an highly interactive progeny equipped with her own side adventure ROFL]."

Which, fair. Honestly, i'd be coping, seething and dilating too.

Still, we love to see it, and if i had to save from a flaming building one between the fox family and the wolf family, i'd go picnic with the cow family.

No. You are not allowed to use meta knowledge to try and blame the PC for any actions, only in universe explanations are allowed or you fuck the game. Players playing for the 1st time would barely know what the fuck is going on since the change happens really fast and literally nothing changes about Brint but a dream that literally could mean nothing since wet dreams with weird twists happen to the PC too or just Beint being weird.

He's not talking about blaming the PC, he talking about blaming the player.

The player definitely knows, because the game straight up tells you what's happening.

"Somewhat meta". It's almost entirely meta. Like I said, the only symptoms of anything wrong with Brint is that he can't take the armor off, he has a weird horny dream, and he suddenly gets pretty horny. These all happen only once and then Brint is transformed into Brienne. If someone told me they found a shirt in some club and they started experiencing these things, how am I possibly supposed to know they're going to completely swap genders in 4 days? Unless cursed armor that changes your gender is a common thing in that world, I really see no reason why the PC should feel so rushed to go to Sanders about that. Especially when, you know, the entire fucking world could be at stake. I think I would be a little more concerned with the demon that's corrupting the land than my companion having a fucking lewd dream.

And again, Brint has free will. He is not some lost scared puppy that has to follow us around 24/7. He is free to visit Sanders on his own time, considering I leave him at Hawkethorne to rot away in the tavern all the time.

If you're going to give me the option to change a character into one I like more and remove almost all potential moral obligation from my PC, why would I not do that? Because he was a pretty nice guy and someone I fight with? Sorry but he can do the exact same thing as a girl. And if he can't, well you can't fault me for that since all the game tells you is he's gonna change into a girl.

Fuck the dev's logic on this, I'm going back to bed and cuddling with 'Tui and Brienne. Wake me up when I get more content for my buff dullahan

To be fair if I found anything that once worn couldn't be removed afterwards I'd definitely consider it cursed and be freaked out, gender change or not. Probably be more likely to seek out Viv for help than some burnt out priest though.

Totally agreed that not doing anything about it is all on Brint though.

Or maybe look for that literal god you can bang on the daily..
Y'know, the gendermorphing, annoying walking wall of text we got so many scenes for that nobody ever asked for?
Still a 'god', so i'm not sure why there's so little interaction outside of bow chicka wow wow

0.5.1 Patch Notes
What does the ending point of a game btw? What additional locations are expected? IIRC there are some references to underwater location (definitely not a Cthulhu reference, yes).

Beginning of KM was about 50%, and KM is basically all of Act 2 (of 3).

Also, there's supposed to be 8 "zones" in the final game.

There's supposed to be a beach/ocean area (coastlands), the salamander palace in Tychris, the harpy area (Windy Peaks), that I know of.

Does the game even tell you he's going to change into a girl? Afaik it just says some major, irreversable change is coming; go to Sanders to stop it.

It says through the flower.
You will have a dream where Brint is kissed by Brienne and beside it whas very hot you wake up saying it feel not just like a dream.

Well considering Brint dreams of being a girl getting railed by himself and the game telling you to bring him to Sanders if you want to prevent a change to him, it's kind of obvious(as the player) what's going to happen. But if you're asking if it explicitly tells you he's going to change into a girl, no it doesn't.

Honestly, I can sort of understand where he is coming from theoretically, but his take is also stupid.
The idea of the player being corrupted in a porn game is honestly great, but requires a shit ton of effort, testing, game design and other factors to achieve. Most of the times - it happens simply because the player gets inpatient.

I remember playing a RenPy Light Management game. When I started - I tried to play it safe, achieving the objective but not pushing too much. Not that I could, as scenes are locked behind some stats. So I took it slow - tried to gradually build it without risking too much. But... well, at some point I lost it, realized that I won't get any spice hot content that way any time soon and just started to not care about the female PC and began grinding the lewd stats to unlock new scenes, repeating content that gives stats, ignoring some of the mechanics the game has that do not benefit for lewd scenes e.t.c.

I got to the same phase with CoC2 as well, but it wasn't as good. In the beginning, I tried to stick to the characters I like, doing the thing I wouldn't mind doing. But eventually I sort of reached the point where I just stopped caring and excepted whatever the hell is going to happen simply because there is often no alternative way that isn't annoying. I remember I wanted to see Leoran Cait TF and spend like, 20 minutes trying to get Vari's encounter, running away for entire days to get her to show up, only to realize it's actually locked behind some time limit.

The only real corruption that happened is me no longer caring about roleplay, game's logic, or any sort of lack of meta gaming to see content. Can I justify my character running away for several hours? Sleeping several days in a room to see a specific dream? Especially in the game that tells you to hurry up and stop Kassyra as fast as possible? Not really. Sure, fuck me in the ass while I was going to safe zone because running away failed, I don't care anymore cause I ain't save-scumming because I got one corruption point.

And then we have him telling us it's our fault that Brint gets genderbend and we did it on purpose because we are corrupted as the players. Yeah, sure, that's a huge ass stretch that assumes waaaay to much, but believe what you want to believe.

Daily reminder that tonguing Cait's rectum lowers corruption, and that kicking to the curb a stupid evil - also stupid asshole - former sex cultist is coded as one of the most vile acts in the game (and ironically even more so than just going ham on Brienne right out of the transormation), while building grooming temples or lending a hand to psycho wolfmilfs is tuesday.
