The valkyrie in game are just winged borial elves but you won't get called a wyld elf which is what the game does to you now. Which is stupid, oh you are 99.9% borial elf but have a single animal trait well that must be a beast mark *facepalm*
Wyld elves feel so redundant when there's all those furry and or fantasy races running along too.

Yup, but not like there are many differences between the races when it comes to animal-eared folk. Cait could be a wyld elf with cat ears and nothing would change about her. Honestly, most races in this game don't have much going for them.
And even when you have something (frigid vagina e.g.) it doesn't matter, it has not only no impact on scenes whatsoever, but it's not even acknowledge by the NPCs.
The main problem is that wyld elves can have any of a billion traits from various different animals. If wyld elves had only a few specific non-human characteristics (e.g. just hooves and antlers, like Lorwyn elves), then they would have a clearer spot among the other races.
I suspect it might have to do with the wiki: each transormative lists what body parts it affects, but doesn’t give any details (e.g. I don’t think the wiki says a feline cock has barbs), so it’s hard to know exactly what a transformation does unless you’ve tried it out yourself in-game. Frigid vagina is a boreal elf trait, I presume? I vaguely remember some mention of it in either Hethia or Daliza scenes (don’t think Elthara has any references to it), but I didn’t know the PC could get it too.
As someone who’s trying to submit for the game, I’d be interested in hearing more about these kinds of traits I might not be aware of, if you (or others) would be so inclined.
You make very good points and I mostly with your post however Gweyr doesn't feel any remorse for the child murder, that itself wouldn't be a problem however when she returns to town. She stays in a nursery full of children. Mainly my children in there. I don't uncomfortable with a literal child murderer being around children, especially my own.
I'm not trying to drag this on but your comment just didn't sit right with me.
I wanna add to that it is not just a random occurrence that the player usually doesn't get to do that, and story wise it's said that it is really frowned upon in the world where the sequel plays out, so I think that point is actually invalid. Just because it was a thing in the first game it doesn't mean it fits in the second automatically.
Edit: Killing in general, let alone slaughtering a whole bunch of minors when it's very unlikely that was the only solution, no matter what the murderess herself says.

We know they were brainwashed/not thinking right & Gweyr herself said it wasn't a challenge. She could beat them till their bones broke, she could beat them bloody and some would die by accident but no, she choose to kill them all and it was all for nothing. She murdered half the youth, traumatized Sanders and all who lost someone from her slaughter, and nearly destroyed the town for nothing. I am pretty sure she was even asked if she would have done the same if her kids were amongst the group. Honestly, you could easily rework her into a tragic villain over trying to make characters say she was good or should be allowed within 200 feet of a daycare.

It's less about how bad it is morally/emotionally moreso than it just being bad as in it doesn't fit the tone of the game in the slightest and is just there to be edgy. TOBS could have just made them adults instead of kids and things would work exactly the same but no, need muh edge.
The killing in Mareth doesn't really hold weight because the tone for that game isn't nearly as light-hearted and even then, the game doesn't shine a huge spotlight onto it. You know it's happening but there isn't a whole quest that takes itself uber seriously about it.
Who the fuck even are these people and why is there a fat Mother Gothel in the middle?

I am going to be brutally honest here and say that I don't think anyone would care either if ToBS hadn't written one disappointing conclusion after another. We would be more focused on fun sexy times with the family we meet at the start of the game that we went out of our way to reunite but got no pay off. Or how we started postive change in the kitsune den and how Nakano may not care for outsiders but is gradually changing his opinion as he respects the pc for our combat skills and bringing their leader back to us. How Kiyoko and Kinu are both loving and supportive of PC and encourage different thinking as their current stance on the outside world isn't working. Instead we get ToBS' 'masterful' lore writing

I just couldn't be bothered to care about some kids I don't know. I only have so much care to give and ToBS drained it right out of me . As for the nursery I made a suggestion a while back that the tower instead of the wayfort becomes our main base and we transported it around with Gwyn looking after our kids protected in a wing of the tower that becomes the new nursery. Kind of lost interest in the whole family at this point tbh . Also this is a response to everyone replying to me.Also thanks for the update to the content Skandranon I don't mind Alypia's content either and she does do some good scenes if you play as a herm or female PC. So I will be cautiously optimistic about what is to come. Also any ETA on the male Kiyoko husbando?

Something that I just realized after all this time. If Wraiths and worse things can take advantage of open portals between worlds. Why hasn't Mareth/Ingnam been overrun? Ingnam sends sacrifices consistently, and the Champion of Ingnam's base is around an active portal, I vaguely remember Mallach refusing to open a portal to save Cait's sister because he says it's dangerous and Kassyra's portal immediately attracted the Abyssal Thing's attention. Meanwhile the CoC1 Champion can sleep and fuck by the light of the portal.

Isn't the best guess really that unlike the portal in COC2 that are only spontaneously created by people that don't know much that much about the subject while the one in COC was created far better and stronger (and longer lasting) by someone that was much more powerful and knowledgeable about the subject.
