To try and cover that the loss scenes are actually rape scenes the devs decided that the mc has to be interested in everyone. I can't think of another reason why you can't set your preferences during character creation. We can pick our gender but not our sexuality. Would that cause a burden on the writers somehow?

Here I thought that was their way to guarantee you won't lock yourself of a content chunk straight out of the gate. Does give me the funny image of the Brienne rapists being told that the player toggled off their shtick and vanishing to the void before making a single step ahead.

So i played Octavias content.Its pretty good,hardest dom content weve had in quite some time i believe? but her scenes after the whole sham wedding were a bit shorter than i would like.Also boobjobs should not be counted as full scenes.Even when its a 2 in 1 deal(Boobjob and blowjob) it still aint much since my stance on these "scenes" remain the same.

Honestly I don't think people who pick that they aren't into guys etc would mind at all if that content was locked.

A good work around could be that each enemy team consists of each gender and you only ever see the scene corresponding to your character's chosen sexuality. This is probably too much work so skipping the loss scene in a way you suggested wouldn't be an actual problem.

There used to be an achievement for removing a number of dicks from [HERESY] characters in CoC1, I don't know if that was an addition from a mod or in the base game but that was a mandatory achievement for me. (Even outside of achievement hunting runs.)

Most of them were sex changing TF items, one was removing a curse from the guard in the first town. I don't think that if any violent removals existed that they would contributed to the achievement.
