considering the fact that the whole thing about the kitsune is that they worship the old country and how one of them (Nakano) has his whole back story related to that place, Lore wise its just a step past komari's torii gate so it seems like Tobs been planning to add it from the beginning

The game isn't very good but magic strapons are intended to be released in the future.

I've heard yes but it's not a priority and not currently being worked on.



Slightly related: In that same thread, someone mentioned Tobs was okay with people submitting PC with Nakano content (will only work if it makes sense in your game state, obvs if he's Kinu's fiance that's a no-go). I know yall hate him but I'll take what I can get. I've thought about it and I don't think he's a self-insert (trope-y and has the potential to surpass the PC in strength? yah) mainly because in his bad end he has a...flaw. He likes to write poetry but everyone in the den thinks it sucks (and I'm pretty sure he himself knows it needs work). I cannot see Tobs being so self-aware and willing to be self-deprecating, that he would self-insert as a character who gets made fun of for his writing.

Her son I believe is in Minatour city, Nelia herself is on the far end for scenes since her main purpose is to tease the player for now on.

Anyone else feels that as a Thief you should be allowed to learn "Pocket Sand" on the premise that it's funny to throw sand at the face of the final boss same way Cultists do to you countless times?

Hell i'd settle for learning it with Mirror Stance from those very same cultists, YES i would literaly fight cultists nonstop till i managed to get hit by it and learn it (Too bad the ancient ways of the Pocket Sand are too complicated for the feeble mind of our PC and thus it's impossible to learn.)

Probably the limited inventory space. The MC just hasn't got room for all that sand in their pockets—they're already crammed with eggs, odd potions, rocks, and wood.

SPEAKING OF THE THIEF:

I just realized why i find their passive "Twist the Knife" so lame compared to other passives and that is: Twist the Knife let's you do extra damage when you attack an enemy that currently has 1 or more debuff on them (this sounds good in theory) THE PROBLEM is that the debuffs system in CoCII actively RUINS this in practice, what do i mean? simple:

When you Debuff an enemy those debuffs are set up to end "after x ammount of enemy turns" and the enemies tend to have 2 turns per round (if not more with bosses) while you only got 1 turn per round, meaning that the next round they'll almost always be fine/back to normal because all the turns the debuff lasted were used up and you NEVER get to pull off Twist the Knife cuz of the "debuff effective for 1-2 turns" bullshit that got rid of it in the previous round of combat!

A MUCH BETTER way to do it would be to make the debuffs work the same way as DnD ones do, and that is "The debuff lasts until the end of your next turn" so that way the Thief would be guaranteed at least a chance to attack someone with a debuff and fucking benefit from Twist the Knife passive!

Hell it isn't even that crazy of a fix when you consider how EVERY OTHER CLASS' PASSIVE WORKS ON THEIR TURN/ON THEMSELVES! don't believe me? look:
White Mage: Healer's Hand restores your hp on YOUR TURN when you heal others.
Black Mage: YOU get extra crit chance based on Willpower.
Warrior: when YOU wear heavy armor YOU generate more thread and are immune to Terror Debuff.
Charmer: when YOU wear light armor YOUR sexyness get doubled.
Thief: HURR DURR LET'S BE LINKED TO AN ENEMY AND WETHER IT'S HURTING OR NOT.

The class/combat system is still wildly unbalanced, probably because the devs have no idea HOW to properly balance classes and combat (also most likely because of Savin's vehement hatred for power fantasies, so if he sees a certain skill or setup able to solo content of the same level, he just nerfs it into the ground and never looks back).

That said thief is probably still the best class for damage, just because of the extra 10% crit chance lol.

The whole combat side of things is a very low priority for SavinCo. Same for TiTS. And that's fine, tbh. I don't think the mediocre combat is anyone's first reason for playing CoC.

I tend to go 20 willpower, 17 Cunning and 17 Presence using Psychic Blast as my At-Will, Arc Cannon and Fireball as my Recharge spells for AoE Goodness, Summon Flame Dancer as my Encounter (because hell yeah that summon is good!) and Revive as my Ultimate because honestly...this build is abit squishy lol.

Geesh, no power fantasy, no corruption/choice content outside of what the writter wants, no female dickless content for pc, they really do have some sadistic pleasure cucking the fans don't they.
