The guides don't magically put content into TiTS that isn't futa or other fetishes, so try again, I guess? Maybe you can avoid 95% of the content...but what would be the point? The story's not good enough to justify putting in that much effort for like 5% of the game.

By storyline I mean the porn. As in, I couldn't fuck Arona because her storyline wasn't continued after we made her warchief.

CoC1 has lots of leftover unfinished stories and scenes for characters.

A lot of CoC content was made by the community. Just like we known from watching Bethesda's games. Community can turn a little above average games into masterpieces.
I enjoyed most of CoC1 conent, gay and futa content being the exception.

But CoC2 feels like Fen's personal fetish box, without little agency left to the player. Since he get money for that. I would say that this is something at least I can't accept or support. While gameplay wise I can see improvements. Let's be honest, the core which is porn RP, lays flat on its face.
They only thing I initially liked was kitsune transformation, because I like the idea of choices and consequences both positive and negative ones. But I'm not sure what happen to it later on, as I lost interest during my playthru.

I dunno man. Tits is his fetish box, fen has no say on CoC2, and it shows. There's far more vanilla content in CoC2 than in TiTS. Lots of non-futa in coc2.

Also from what I've seen Savin seems like a bit of an asshole. He hates modders, cheaters, and anyone who doesn't think his design philosophy is perfect as is apparent by his past statements and actions. It's that attitude that's making it hard for me to want to support CoC2. His followers are obnoxiously loyal and quick to join in harassing people.

Can't say I know much about fen as a person. Only vague bits about people leaving. As for CoC, the end did feel a bit rushed for sure. But I still enjoyed CoC a hell of a lot more than most adult games on the market at the time. I know this is going to sound like a terrible comparison but for me CoC felt like the Minecraft of adult games. Though if I do play CoC these days I'm usually playing the XianXia mod.

I know people here normally don't like much of the Observer's kitsune content (frankly i don't dislike it, thought sometimes i skim through it since is an ungodly wall of text, Kiyoko is still one of my favorite characters of the game) but i think i noticed something strange about her: either her whole quest is a relic of the begginings of this game's lore, or Keros is a trickster in more ways than one.
Kiyoko died to a Wraith Wizard right? and as her body died her soul fled into the amber orb, correct? well...that's the thing, her SOUL fled into the astral plane, a SOUL that Keros himself admited no kitsune is born with, as when he offers his deal to you he mentions how every kitsune around is SOULESS and he is the owner of a "communal soul" to the species so: how the hell did "Kiyoko's soul" fled into the Amber Orb if she had none to beguin with? she should had ended right then and there when she received the spell so either:
A) Her entire quest is a relic of the game's first launches when the Kitsune Lore wasn't worked up to it's current state and Kitsunes had an individual soul back then and this is just an oversight on The Observer's writting.
or
B) If we're rather generous with The Observer this could be a case of Keros living up to the TRICKSTER GOD title and tricking us into giving him our soul.

Yeah, ummm no... that excuse doesn't really work when we have full-on wolf, cat people with furry paws/feet and animal faces. I wasn't talking about taur. I'm talking about how we barely get anything and some obvious transformations candidates being ignored for years. I didn't expect them to give us barely anything in exchange to getting rid of taur. There's no excuse for not having hornets transformation when It's literally like the in-game spider transformation. Just change the color and the name. There's nothing overcomplicated about the transformation.

Also I never expected that we'd get literal anime bunny boys/girls instead of anthropomorphic furry rabbits. They don't even have increased fertility...

Can someone post the shark people codex? I want to see if we're getting the bootleg version of the shark TF in TiTs

To be fair, it's not like if you were a fully anthro rabbit would matter since they could write any and all scenes in a way that completely ignores any and all bodily features. Not only that, maybe there wasn't enough people who wanted to be full-on rabbit people for them to do it. It's like the time Fen asked if people wanted an elephant TF in TiTS, knowing they weren't going to have any content that acknowledges the TF in the first place. Most people didn't really care, and you have to think about the writing process behind all of that. When you're writing any of these scenes, whether they be codex entries, sex scenes, interactions, you're gonna have to write them all in a way that would easier plug-and-chug different adjectives for all of the possible TFs currently in the game. When you have to do that, scenes get more generic because they have to work with all TFs without breaking, or you end up writing special scenes for TFs. What I don't see anyone taking about in regards to TFs, is why don't they have any effect on your stats or give you special attacks? I miss when the game knew you were some abomination with claws, fangs, stingers and therefore used them.

I'm not sure of the whole story but I think there was an uproar about balance when that topic got brought up and people saying they will be forced to take whatever transformation is strongest compared to what they want. Not sure why thats the case since the game is already easy both on TITS and CoC2 heck I only lost a couple of times in a hundred ingame days and that because I got too horny. And yeah I agree getting a special dragon attack when a dragon morph on CoC1 was pretty awsome and made me feel powerful.

The main reason we avoid locking perks behind TFs is to avoid a situation where the PC feels they have to get specific physical transformations in order to get a powerful ability, rather than crafting the sexual avatar that they want. This is stated every single time somebody asks after CoC-like TFs that give abilities! PoM was a) not Foxfire by any stretch of the imagination and b) wasn't a physical TF at all. Are you thick, or willfully misinterpreting me?"

On the other hand, you could always make transformations that don't give you any new powers.

Just make up a reason: Though this potion to transform into X creature is potent, it is not enough to give you powers naturally affiliated with that creature.

And we can always have transformations that do give you special powers, but make it harder to obtain (like how you need to sell your soul to Keros to become a kitsune.)

How did you get around to looking a the image files? Not even sure what language it's coded in to decompile it.
