I tried it for the Quint's scene and it's more about you telling Quint how "great" he is than about actually fucking that asshole.

I'm not implying that the gameis bad. I'm saying that is wasted potential, it had many improvements against CoC, some good and others not so much,writing was a OK (except of Cait. Fuck that bitch) We are heroes of dubious backgrounds helping the damisel in peril against a fuckable demon from Mareth.
But after several updates that premise went directly to the drainage due Savin's incompetence or loosening Tob's leash (We must remember that Rindo in the beginning was going to be Kinu) and his self insert was a "negligible oversight" from Savin. Some writers are good but can deliver better and far more to this days Wsan came to save the day with excelent scenes and good plot (K'hor minos is good over all).
I still play this game because I have several runs and degeneracy to try on my characters.

If it is what you think you are referring to, that scene is still good. Like, yeah, Anon did go to much in direction similar to where game is overplaying Quins sexual prowess, but it still felt sweet, intimate and smutty.
Hell, If I did not know any better I would have thought that Bubs wrote it.
That scene makes me sad that we will not get any official Quin bottoming scenes tho. Someone that cocky and full of ass (figuratively and literally) is prime candidate for a good bottoming scene.
At least Berry is getting some good stuff (even if I am not big fan of Matiha) and Bs femboy named Nikol should not be to far away.
Still wish we could fuck at least one twink in the ass tho. Like, man, are there any in this game that bottom for us?

Considering how protective BubbleLord is towards his OCs, I wouldn't be surprised.
Sadly Clementine's creator had to quit because they had a medical condition that killed their libido. They're also the creator of Valencia and that's never gonna be completed either. It's why I mentioned the game was cursed. Two very promising characters are now in limbo and I can only hope Wsan, William or B picks them up.
They're clearly relationship focused and those three have the best experience writing those scenarios.
Same boat. I like the game despite its two major players and their incessant need to spite the audience. I really think the game would reach a lot of its potential if Savin wasn't the one in charge because if he doesn't like his audience, why would he work on the game? Maybe I'm being too harsh, but I've watched Savin's work since he first joined CoC and left to try to make Slablands before he quit that too. He doesn't exactly inspire confidence in leadership.
There are a few more good writers for CoC2. Fleep certainly is shaping up to be one of them. I haven't seen much character work from Alypia, but they have potential. William and B are established solids.
It's true a few very good writers left for various reasons, but that seems pretty standard in the Fenoxo-verse.
EDIT: Ah, forgot Jstar, they got some good stuff cooking too. So there's always gonna be good writers and hope.

Well, B is one of the few authors on the team who actually listens to the critics, so I'm pretty hyped about all of his stuff too.
His phoenix companion at first looked to me like a harpy version of Cait (and I do like Cait unlike most people here, just not too much), but Agnimitra now seems pretty great, if we gonna assume that B has taken Hellhound scene backlash close to his heart.

There was backlash for the Hellhound? Huh, the one time I don't know drama. I like the character too, so it's not like I hate everything Savin does. He does good shit, but for whatever reason he occasionally feels the need to ruin it like George Lucas or Steven Spielberg.
But yeah, Agnimitra is gonna be a fun character to go through. Very interesting dynamics.

The thing I don't understand is I could have sworn polyamory hinged on consent. You don't get to go around fucking other people all willy-nilly, you gotta ask your partner for each person you fuck. Really could have sworn the community has an etiquette and ruleset. Yet they write these characters as if they were worshippers of Slaanesh where consent is just a restraint, no respect for the partner.

I like that he mentioned the discord and how it's hard for him to get actual critiques from fans there, instead of just praise. And I never go on these boards myself so it's nice to see some people gave good suggestions.
He should stop by here too though.
Pretty much only Cait has the "consent" in that you agree to be fuck buddies essentially, before unlocking her sex content. Not sure about anyone else. I think sometimes the writers just lean too hard on the "average porn gamer just wants an npc to own and control' and forgetting that they're writing for basically a sex rpg, where the player can customize different aspects of their PC. It's not a stretch to think that people at least want to have the option of opting out of certain content and not having to worry that walking through the door of the frosthound will show an npc felating their husbando under the table.

Also, I think there is a difference between polyamory and open ralationship.
Latter is something that the game hinges on in a lot of cases with people like Cait, Brint, Quin and many others. You get to fuck whoever you want, they get to fuck whoever you want.
Polyamory is engament/love between multiply people. Poly relationships hinges on trust that you and your partners are going to be truthful to everyone. So, unlike in open relationship where you can fuck anyone without asking your partner/s, in poly you will have to ask all of your loved ones if it is OK for you to fuck someone else.

I definitely meant Brint in that specific instance. Despite him being dtf most people, if you get with him, then he shows constantly that you're #1 to him. Most of his threesome scenes (that are written by wsan, other authors don't usually do this), either have the PC being able to join in and Brint stating he can't leave his favorite out of things, or being able to focus the threesome on either the PC or Brint if you want (my fav example is the sleepy snek stuff). So for me, Wsan nailed his character. He was able to make a bro sir-fucks-alot minotaur still feel like he likes the PC the most.
And about poly vs open relationships. I def think the devs might throw around the word polyamorous when they mean, like you said, more of an open relationship or fuck buddies (at least for the above case with B). For me, with Brint's more loveydovey scenes, it def feels like he has an understanding with the PC that they're pretty into each other, even if/when they fuck other people who don't matter as much to them. And this is like I said, usually backed up by Wsan's writing because he gives you more choices in how you engage with his scenes.
It's why I have high hopes for Mino City, whenever we get more Brint scenes (plus I'm pretty sure it's been said you can either marry him or get him a harem, I think it's obv which one I'll choose lol). Not really into any of the other male npcs. Elyon has nice artwork but goddamn Tobs' sex scenes leave me bone dry. It is hard for me to get even a drop of arousal from reading his stuff lol.
