I'm only kept referencing Cait and Arona as choices because its a great example of how assine the choices are for some sort of reward, i mean I of course took the hit and power bottomed for Ryn to complete the romance cycle when i first did the quest. I only did the other choices as a what if and they still fucking stink.

I never saw those other options as a reward and more somewhere to dump Ryn if you were just doing the quest to do it and don't care for her because no matter what she intends to take that cock restoring super aphrodisiac.
This game isn't a stranger to options where you take nothing in a "I'm just doing what I want for the sake of doing it." kind of way.

I mean, the moment the cage is unlocked the scene is worded in that you, the person behind the screen, chooses what she wants. If Ryn suddenly wants someone else, its because you choose that narrative.

The problem with this logic is you have no other choice if you're not into taking dick. Compound the fact that the only way to officially get a confession out of her and properly start dating is to take said dick, it's not exactly a fair choice to a player. The choice is essentially, "Get dicked down in order to continue the romance or get cucked." And I specifically used cucked because there is no middle ground or "Let's figure out what we're doing because this is a complicated situation." option.

There are only two real issues I can understand with the scene. One being that the love confession is tied to the sex scene, but I can wave that off with "It's a porn game, it is what it is."

The issue isn't that it's a porn game, plenty avoid this trope. The issue is Savin not actually being an inventive or patient writer. It shouldn't be waved off because, quite frankly, it's not even a good spot to put it. It makes it seem like love is a transactional thing. You got the cage off her, so now she officially loves you but that's obviously not how love works. Ideally it would be placed right before the fight with her sister, preferably on the boat ride.

This literally all could have been avoided if we had the option of fucking her while giving her a handjob. Under 10″, you might get comments from some partners about how you aren’t big enough to please them adequately. I don’t think there are many scenes that “punish you” for being too big, however; I have a character that’s 24″, and I think the only thing he can’t do is fuck Etheryn in the ass.

Idk maybe it's because there's dozens of in game items that can just change your genitals with no problem? Also im pretty sure Etheryn tried to grow a pussy as a last resort to work around the cage but it wouldn't let her, not to mention theres a quest where Male Lyric can be given a pussy and have your babies and that one Glacial rift character also has a quest to have his gender changed.
