Welcome to my world, I'm not optimistic to see where the mod goes because it has all the potential to be just quality of life and no story editing... you know, the thing that actually needs fixed.Thank you, I'm gonna try it
But if these are the only changes I don't see how it can be so much better than the Vanilla. I mean, I never even knew about Ryn's scene with Hashat because I never gave that character any attention, etc. I'll keep an eye on the mod as well the Original and see what else will come on the mod.
Yeah, pretty sure they did Ryn's nursing scene where they nurse a lactating PC's tits. They seem to do a lot of lovey dovey scenes or at least scenes on the sweeter side.Hm, so that's why Ryn got disjointed so suddenly. Could have sworn they wrote some romantic stuff too, but am I mistaken again?
As you can see, BubbleLord is an incredibly polite and sophisticated individual of the highest calibre. Clearly, we, the Players, are at fault for Leofric's behavior for how can us peons fathom the great depths of the character constructed by the Lord of Bubbles?Considering how protective BubbleLord is towards his OCs, I wouldn't be surprised.
From a mechanics point of view, I can get behind the introduction of the level cap raise (from 6 to 10) and the consumables (Stat boost). The former feels necessary once you get roam the Undermountain while the latter makes earning gold meaningful.Thank you, I'm gonna try it

I mean, Quint is always on top, init?I tried it for the Quint's scene and it's more about you telling Quint how "great" he is than about actually fucking that asshole.
I agree with your post, but I feel you underestimate the role of Savin in this fucking debacle. This lad is the main writer / team leader /creator of the game. Not an intern, not a secretary, not one dev,but the dude in charge of overseeing the whole project. Nothing should happen without him stepping in. Yet we end up with Bubs and Tobs.First time posting in this thread. Yet after reading the whole thread it seems that the 4chan general and here have reached the same conclusions.
-Savin is uncapable to make a decent game

Is almost painful know that this game that had too much potential is going to waste thanks to 1 of the devs (Savin) and the sperg in chief (Tobs).
He's definitely much more competent at this than the bizarre half thought through drama he tends to write (and most of his sex scenes, guy is like a thesaurus that only takes definitions from urban dictionary), though I can't stand the way he writes villains personally.I recently did Gweyr quest for the first time, and I'll give Tobs props that he can at least do like, action-adventure writing well?
Probably Tobs, in his infinite wisdom, uses the smell of ash to portray the anguish and trauma of a burn victim in the same way an amateur chef finds out that his bacon is little bit too crispy.sex scenes that involve someone crying the whole time and smelling like ash (because they're a burn victim, and that's how scars work apparently).
Hm, fair but to me it feels like the attraction between Brint and the champion is kind of forced. Like, you fuck him onceand you are considered lovers. While other companions have that problem, I find it more noticeable with Brint since game tries to make it seem like you can either be his friend or fuckbuddy. Like, if he tells you that after second time fucking him, it almost makes it seem like he tells it to all other girls he fucks. To keep them interested.I definitely meant Brint in that specific instance. Despite him being dtf most people, if you get with him, then he shows constantly that you're #1 to him. Most of his threesome scenes (that are written by wsan, other authors don't usually do this), either have the PC being able to join in and Brint stating he can't leave his favorite out of things, or being able to focus the threesome on either the PC or Brint if you want (my fav example is the sleepy snek stuff). So for me, Wsan nailed his character. He was able to make a bro sir-fucks-alot minotaur still feel like he likes the PC the most.
And about poly vs open relationships. I def think the devs might throw around the word polyamorous when they mean, like you said, more of an open relationship or fuck buddies (at least for the above case with B). For me, with Brint's more loveydovey scenes, it def feels like he has an understanding with the PC that they're pretty into each other, even if/when they fuck other people who don't matter as much to them. And this is like I said, usually backed up by Wsan's writing because he gives you more choices in how you engage with his scenes.
It's why I have high hopes for Mino City, whenever we get more Brint scenes (plus I'm pretty sure it's been said you can either marry him or get him a harem, I think it's obv which one I'll choose lol). Not really into any of the other male npcs. Elyon has nice artwork but goddamn Tobs' sex scenes leave me bone dry. It is hard for me to get even a drop of arousal from reading his stuff lol.
I think it was said the level cap was going to be increased next year and the undermountain was a level 7 zone? Anyone that needs the stat boosts are either lazy and want to spam through fights even more than they already can in this game (I rarely pay much attention in fights in the undermountain) or just bad. From a mechanics point of view, I can get behind the introduction of the level cap raise (from 6 to 10) and the consumables (Stat boost). The former feels necessary once you get roam the Undermountain while the latter makes earning gold meaningful.
It probably is just meant to get you fat in contrast to the gym? I wouldn't be surprised if that's it.Okay, taking the whole Savinsaga aside for a moment to ask about latest patch. Is Bakery utterly empty? Cause in patchnotes its listed next to Inn, and that got 4 nice scenes with innkeeper. So one would thought that in patch named "A Little Something Sweet" there would be some content in there. While whole bakery shtick seems to get(hidden behind one time encounter, mind you) cow to eat cake, cow likes cake in about 3 lines of text. 3 different foods for champ, 3 another lines. Am I dumb or is it all? That's less text than some terrain blurbs.
Yes, this is basically the point. Combat in these games is ass, anything that lets you ignore it even more is good.Anyone that needs the stat boosts are either lazy and want to spam through fights even more than they already can in this game
It really just makes me think she hasn't washed since getting the scars tbh. No wonder no-one else wants her.Probably Tobs, in his infinite wisdom, uses the smell of ash to portray the anguish and trauma of a burn victim in the same way an amateur chef finds out that his bacon is little bit too crispy.
It's like he took a look at Katawa Shoujo's Hanako and then proceeded to go hard on the 'burn victim' aspect without actually considering what made her a solid character to begin with.It really just makes me think she hasn't washed since getting the scars tbh. No wonder no-one else wants her.

The Discord and the forums are nothing but sycophants. They could write literal dogshit and those people would eat it up no questions asked.Wew lad. That's a shocker, but /vg/ was on point and knocked sense into him.
Another case of Discord poisoning the well, though. That's disconcerting.
Yes, they did. They also said something like “Variety is the death of depth”, which translates as “I don’t wanna write something that does not match my vision of the character and her relationship with the MC".Hm, so that's why Ryn got disjointed so suddenly. Could have sworn they wrote some romantic stuff too, but am I mistaken again?
What, you've never fucked away someone's traumas before? He's definitely much more competent at this than the bizarre half thought through drama he tends to write (and most of his sex scenes, guy is like a thesaurus that only takes definitions from urban dictionary), though I can't stand the way he writes villains personally.
They're all so incredibly lacking in charisma or intimidation, and one only even works because it forces the champ to be a retard and just not stop them for some reason.
That being said, dumb tropey villains are still a huge step up from dumb tropey melodramatic NPCs we're forced to care about, or sex scenes that involve someone crying the whole time and smelling like ash (because they're a burn victim, and that's how scars work apparently).
It could be, I stopped paying attention to their discord ages ago. Still, the star boost make sense : foes get a stat increase, why the MC should be a grunt despite rampaging left and right?I think it was said the level cap was going to be increased next year and the undermountain was a level 7 zone? Anyone that needs the stat boosts are either lazy and want to spam through fights even more than they already can in this game (I rarely pay much attention in fights in the undermountain) or just bad.
Oh yeah I think that goes completely without saying lol, though it is a really weird choice to try to replicate that game, or that trope in general honestly, it's an absolute nightmare to write disabled or severely traumatized people in romance stuff without coming across terribly. It's like he took a look at Katawa Shoujo's Hanako and then proceeded to go hard on the 'burn victim' aspect without actually considering what made her a solid character to begin with.
Well, highschool me certainly tried at least. Maybe the bad metaphors are what makes it work? What, you've never fucked away someone's traumas before?
I think he took more from Teaching Feeling's Sylvie. All that patting in Rindo's first sex scene. It's like he took a look at Katawa Shoujo's Hanako and then proceeded to go hard on the 'burn victim' aspect without actually considering what made her a solid character to begin with.
