But "consistency"? Now that's a a wholly new complaint more present in modern times than it ever was during CoC1's prime day.
Maybe you just werent actually reading the content you said you did(even though you mentioned corrupt jojo) but to simply say, it just isn't as good as other parts of the game. The formatting is weird and amateurish (suppose most of the people were amateur, huh), proper motive and reasoning isn't there, and as mentioned before, the PC can and will act OOC alot of the time.
When corruption content was added, it was wanted. People read, it, liked it, and made large amounts of posts, suggestions, etc because they like it.
Dont think i said it was ever *unwanted* the fact that it *was* wanted is half the damn reason so much shit was added to the first game
All my posts on the concepts were saying is that *I* thought the corruption in COC1 was very poorly done and shows some of the same lack of player agency many complain about in this game. All of those options you list lack any sort of nuance once the player character hits a certain level of corruption, now they are just willing to take over Whitney's farm or turn JoJo into a slave. That's probably what I would say my issue with any of the content is there's no slope. There is no slippery slope. It's on and off.
Again, i dont dislike corruption content, another thing i never said. I dont like that it's mostly not good and if the small bits of content within 2 that fits the bill would show the general quality of more corruption, i would just rather not have it
*edit: You're totally right about The Dark Master's work
