how's everyone finding the siorcanna update? I'd been waiting for it but had completely forgotten about it.

Aside from the one-off with tentacle milf, another update that's really boring and useless to me. Seastone, while more appealing than Arona, is still just Arona-lite. As usual, I hate the alpha/beta shit and Seastone is the only substantial part of the update so... yeah. I also don't find Telsanna or whatever her name is attractive at all and you cum on yourself when you fuck her so that also sucks.

That's another thing about this game. Why is EVERYTHING based around being a sub/dom? I swear every character feels like they're pigeonholed into one of those archetypes and in a really generic way at that. Wow a futa domme so she only uses her dick and treats you like a cocksock. Wow this girl only has lady bits so she MUST be a sub that screams on your dick. It really feels like every character is just a slight variation of those two things, barring a few exceptions. I'm just sick of all this superficial sub/dom shit, why can't we have actual relationships that have more depth than a fucking raindrop? Why can't I just have sexy fun times without having to be reminded of power dynamics all the time? Like god damn, lemme just fuck a futa as equals for once. Lemme fuck a girl that can just take charge if she wants to, but is also fine being more passive.


Need more vanilla-y dynamics but kinky scenes. Feels like not a single game on this site manages to do that well. Hell, they could do the sub/dom thing if they really want to, just make it actually interesting instead of this bland fake feeling dynamic we have now.

I've actually legitimately enjoyed this expansion. It was great. I never, ever thought anything SKoW could ever entertain me, but I've always liked alpha/beta things and the idea of conquering a queen/alpha. The only patch in a long, long time to ever interest me, and it washed off how shit berwyn was, which I was actually hyped for, so this is a nice surprise.

My sole issue is that despite Savco's insistence that it's the reviewing of text that takes the longest, the editing has been shit. MUCH of the dialogue in seastone's (dumbass name) sex scenes are written as if you are the beta, even if you are the alpha.
For example, referring to other siorcs as fellow betas, and also calling seastone "mistress" which makes no sense, because it's obviously not in the meaning of a concubine but rather as a dominatrix.

Also all the dom/sub content of the game needs more "chill" scenes. Where we can see how the dynamic works out without sex. There's pretty much only 1 scene and some variations in this expac and it's a bit shit frankly.

And...they really could downplay just literally saying alpha beta. The relationship dynamic can be made more immersive through a bit more subtle dialogue instead of a literal fucking hammer.

I understand your plight but I find myself amicably disagreeing. I think there's already a decent amount of vanilla content in the game, and that porn games in general tend to be very, very vanilla with most dynamics, and it's good that CoC offers some variety.

Specifically about futas though, most futas in the game ARE very dom/sub, that is true. I don't think we have any vanilla futa content in the game..though I'm sure someone can dig it up if they wanted to, most are of some sort of dom/sub variety, which I am personally quite okay with as that's what I want but I can see it being annoying to others. Even if there isn't a literal dom sub meter or route, all futas seem to have some sort of power dynamic written in.

I'm not specifically after vanilla content, I think most of the game is pretty vanilla scene-wise. I just want the devs to stop doing the same shit over and over again, and I really hate the constant sub/dom tones the game shoves down your throat. It's fine if SOME characters are based around that, but it feels like almost every characters defining trait is whether they're a dom or a sub. I'm just tired of it. It feels lazy and flimsy, like they couldn't actually be bothered to flesh these characters out so they just stick a label on 'em and chuck them into the game.

Just compare it to CoC1 for example. You actually make connections with people in that game and most characters are not explicitly a dom or a sub. Sure they might have inclinations, but they don't feel constrained into a narrow archetype like the characters do in this game. Again, even if they were constrained into that narrow archetype, I wouldn't mind it as long as it wasn't done in such a generic and copy-pasted feeling way. Hell, Marble is based almost entirely around feeding you her milk but it works because it's done in an interesting way with several outcomes.

I moreso just want the characters interacting like actual people rather than, "Haha yeah Arona only cares about sex, beer, and fucking." Or, "Omg Cait is like the perfect most special-ist girl in the whole wide world, she's so kind and caring and slutty! You go girl for owning your whoriness! Girls get it done!". Not forcing a character into being a sub/dom from the outset would really help with that imo, I just worded it poorly.

Right, I can agree more with this. Most of the dynamics are very re-treaded paths, yes.

But CoC 1 is not as varied as you remember, or at least it wasn't to me when I last replayed it.

I understand your point also but I think they mainly meant character relationship wise, not just the direct smut content. Stuff like most recently drifa, or etheryn, kas, or what used to be comforting and hugging Berwyn (may he rip) when he cried etc. I think part of it is them making too much work for themselves, especially when they want certain characters only written by them. Stuff to build player investment and to create more (I friggin love brienne)s.

Like arona for example, she has a decent amount of Dom content, a decent amount of sub content, but is that better or would her having a lot of content where she was in the middle or just one be better, create more natural player attachment etc. Then you have the character bloat where you have for all intents and purposes villager a b or c to bang, if you're lucky they'll have a single gimmick, when instead they could have added to any other character that's already been there. Which would also fit their design more, because tobs has been on record talking about how there's not bars or shops in all locations because it'd be generic or bloat or whatever, so you'd figure less characters fully fleshed out would be the natural extension.

Characters like kiyoko are supposed to be waifu simulators but their content ends ridiculously soon for characters theoretically your character would spend up to hundreds of years with. Referring to their prior point, you also have characters again like arona, who instead of being normal are exaggerated extremes. Ie turbo sub arona "p pwease bang me uwu" or turbo Dom where *door bangs open "sup ho, you know that girl you just proposed to, she fit me reaaaal well" *beats you unconscious. Instead of just having a orc amazon wife that's strong and independent but not non sexily abusive, and has loving moments but isn't like bipolar between the two. It'd also make a lot less writing effort maintaining 2 separate scripts, and you could still have extreme stuff behind choices.

Not that I'm aware of but I'd really consider before changing either way, the farmer variant is considered by quite a few people to be "better", also seems to be preferred by her dev, is more directly loving to mc, is more independent and unique instead of being kiyoko 2, not in a "like mother" way but a "mom said my interests were trash then slapped me so I only like good things now" way

my own two cents: would you rather emo girl daughter who pushes you away because shes metaphorically checking her phone every 10 minutes and thinks you have father cooties or something. Or would you rather have a daughter who you can check in on from time to time, give her gifts,play with her, and I guess generally feel accomplished?

From my pov the two options are basicly:
daughter who atleast appreciates your presence.

this game for what its worth has a suprising amount of content. it has enough to make one feel salty about loosing a save file

I must've missed it. Or forgotten about it since it was some time since I played. How is it slow?

It's in the options menu. Set the difficulty to "Story mode" and your party will be significantly buffed while enemy encounters will be weakened. It's still slow because even with the buffs certain enemies still have sufficient health and evasion to drag the fight on, and even with story mode on fighting without party members is still a death sentence.

Kinda weird you're having trouble with TiTS combat though. It's straightforward enough that I don't have any trouble with it even without Easy Mode on, it's just a matter of knowing enemy resistances and weaknesses.
