I should have elaborated on who she went after but basically she's one of those "if you have to ask, you shouldn't do it" types of characters. Theres technically nothing stopping them from letting Dom arona have scenes banging every character you're in a relationship with.

Basically, all the memes or exaggerations about Cait cucking you except arona does it to characters you might actually care about and is a prick on top of it. Again, no offense or insult meant, but if anyone has to ask specifics on how she is I'd remove her from the game or get the sub version. You're not in a position to say "please don't do that" you're basically locked into being her slave.

And that is a result of bad design + weak story telling. If Gweyr had anything to her beyond the forced edginess of her story people wouldn't have to be forced to go through with that nonsense.

Same with Cait's temple, if Savin had realized that the problem with how some of his writers act towards the players (and that includes the content they submit, which is a massive problem and I can't recall having witnessed a similar amount of unprofessional behavior like that before) stems from their attitude and not the players all being dickheads maybe Cait related content wouldn't be considered unpleasant by such a big chonk of players (depending on where I look it feels as if it is a majority by now, but that isn't really important even), meaning that there would be no reason to gate Kas content behind Cait stuff. It's just insane in my opinion, and extremely sad on top of it cause at first CoC 2 was very, very promising. Easily a contender for "The best Fen game as of yet" and in some ways better than Trials in Tainted Space even. Sadly by now it has become more of a self-insert circlejerk for the authors, who completely ignore the fact that the game still advertises itself as a lewd CYOA game with an emphasize on player agenda. Now the player character could literally be removed from the game & nothing would change, it would only require some adjustments here and there, but overall the game would be the exact same.

My problem with CoC 2 comes from the inconsistency & the blatant dishonesty on the end of the Devs. Also, as of late, the quality of the writing has fallen apart like a sandcastle in a hurricane, it's below some of the stuff written for CoC 1, ironically at times written by the same person.

Thats was attempt (failed) to add some GRIMDARK to the game. In coc1 it was possible to 'force' one of the girls commit suicide IIRC. It wasnt said directly but heavily implies that. So pfffff...

Again, this was not added to the game just for the sake of violence like "look at me, I like killing!!!! Skull to the skull god, blood to the blood throne, or something I dunno". It was added make character, gweyr, more 'deep'.

Like, much better way to do it would be:
after "she bluffing" line gweyr should say "than come to me to check it, bitch", someone come out, gweyr kills him.
Than someone should say "oh my god, she killed kenny! LETS AVENGE HIM!!!!" with same battle, with a sanders on the background, squeezing his hands and experiencing unbearable lightness of being.
Than sanders, through clenched teeth should say something like "they could have been saved" with gweyr like "you seen yourself, they was beyond saving". And sanders would be like "HMMMMMMMMMMPHH".
Than gwayr should decided to hunt down talus to prevent something like this from happening in future. Than crushes his husband pelvis with a farewell sex (ITS A PORN GAME, YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE also a reason why garth abandoned his mercenary job, because he have crushed pelvis).

Yes, game still is shit and I rather dominantly oral tobs while forcing savin watch than play it again, but it have 'good' moments, comparing with all other parts of a game.

Put on the ring, then sleep, you should get a scene where Talsenne introduces herself. Then go see Evergreen, buy summon circle, install summon circle in wayfort then you can summon Talsenne for fun

This game got too many characters who all serve the same purpose. I like the new shark girl, but she's straight up Arona. Same for the new summon spirit, who's basically the farmer cow from the caravan quest. Again, they're not bad but why not just write stuff for the OGs at that point.

It's in the options menu. Set the difficulty to "Story mode" and your party will be significantly buffed while enemy encounters will be weakened. It's still slow because even with the buffs certain enemies still have sufficient health and evasion to drag the fight on, and even with story mode on fighting without party members is still a death sentence.

Kinda weird you're having trouble with TiTS combat though. It's straightforward enough that I don't have any trouble with it even without Easy Mode on, it's just a matter of knowing enemy resistances and weaknesses.

Maybe I'll give it another go. My memory is vague and its possible I won't have these issues on my second go around. Though I also recall that game being more frontloaded with furry content l.
As for the story mode, I'll definitely use that. Thanks!

Iirc Marble would commit suicide if you blamed her and you'd know because you'd end finding her bloated corpse floating in the lake. This was considered too much of a boner killer so they changed it and just made her disappear.
