Bruh AI would probably sound like Tobs with its verbose prose and excessive descriptions, you gotta remember that it was probably trained on your typical romance novels so the end result would be a true battle of titans, Tobs vs AI Tobs.
Eh, I’ve recently used several AI chat bots and I gotta disagree. I can actually get through a gap session without my eyes glazing over.

I think the team makes a lot of dumb decisions, especially in terms of characters prioritized and shit like antagonizing the playerbase... but this is a text smut game, and people are complaining the text smut scenes are too long? ? ?

Honestly, what's the issue? Creaming before the scene is over?

There's a difference between long scenes and purple prose. One can have a lot of things happening in it, the other spends paragraphs describing the most trivial minutiae and inserting the most inane thoughts to bore the piss out of you. Tobs does the latter to a special degree.

people want to good not read 10 billion lines of pointless flavor text that no one cares about
it's all wordwordwordswordswords
look at CoC1 and you will see that most every scene is clear and concise and has only a little setup before getting right into the smut
there is a reason slablands crashed and burned and it's because of pointless verbosity

Some people like wordwordword. I guess this is why books are divided into reading levels. I guess what they ought to do is use GPT to make the 30 paragraph scenes into 5 paragraphs by asking it to make the smut concise.

Ah yes, because AI is the answer to everything. And not, you know, asking them to become better writers or get a damn editor. Knowing AI, it will confused all the strange terms they have for sex and it's parts for something important.

Welcome to the land of BABY BATTER, Lady THUNDERCUNT THE WOMB SMASHER has invited you to her castle in FUTA HORSECOCK to discus the ongoing demon invasion and some personal matters.

Do you 1: fuck her FROSTLANDS
2: Ride her WAYFORT
or 3: Discuss the attack on SLUTWIFE

You want the writing to be action, action, action, action, done.

You have a problem with action, analogy, sensation/sense, action, reaction, sensation, conclusion.

The game is oriented towards people who are smut roleplayers themselves. When someone wastes their life doing the same roleplay plots, tropes, and smut scenes, they either end up in the first camp or the second camp. The second camp is the one that Savin prefers and feels is worth paying a cut of proceeds to. This is why writers like Tobs are here to stay in this project, where as fenoxo took the former with him to TiTs. You're never going to get what you want with CoC2, but you're not wrong for having a preference or wishing they'd cater to it. I never really jived with TiTs and all the bug species in it, myself.

Have fun reading paragraphs upon paragraphs describing what kind of sofas are in the room and what colour the carpet is. In a sex scene, I remind you.

One scene was so verbose in particular, that it spent 70%(!) of its word count on repetitive and empty bullshit, like repeating the line about overpowering contraception over and over and over, before the foreplay even begun. The actual penetration and sex only occured at the very end, and were done in a single paragraph.
I am talking about the Noire impregnation scene, by the way.

If you still don't see what's the problem, you may have developed Chronic Tobsthritis.

I thought of how to illustrate a proper point to this question. It's been broached before and answered before and usually each and every time the explanation either flies over heads or is completely ignored so that people can create another stance with which to argue against. As I'm typing this out on my keyboard, taking time away from Expedition 33, a very pretty game by the way, I have to come up with a way in which to express this stance that I want to bring.

There's many issues here. How do I begin to articulate the issue which I'll bring up later. There are many different approaches to this problem after all. Some avenues may work or others may cause friction and resistance. When trying to persuade somebody it's usually better to bring them to the same mindframe so that they have a jumping off point to empathize.

Empathy is the main point here.
If I can't make you feel the point I'm trying to get across, you may end up completely loss. The other half of the puzzle is persuasion. A conversation only works with people share a little bit of perspective. Otherwise it's easy to reject the idea outright. That rejection is the finishing blow to many a different type of conversation.

The last part is eloquence.
How do I articulate the stance that I have that I'll explain later. Simple words could work. But, the nomenclature I use in real life would leave you absolutely ponderous as to their meaning and intent. There's other things that hamper communication such as spelling and grammar mistakes and the like. My 's' key is going so it sometimes inputs extra s's like thiss or thisss. Which themselves would stick out like a bold thumb even if I didn't just bold it like thisss and thisss.

Still I've beat around the bush for far too long.
So let's get down to it. I'll start by setting the stage a little bit. As mentioned before, this is to help establish a few points with which to latch onto. I think I might need to start with the history from where this complaint begins. Although that's another issue with this conversation. I don't know how much of the thread you've read.

The history of this thread is pretty long.
You can read all kinds of stances from every perspective here. Part of the reason I enjoy this place is that even though there is some audible echoes, you usually have people come to their own conclusions before mixing them into the pot. It's also why so many of the same topics come back again and again and again.

Speaking of similar topics, did you know that each time we circle back to one of the repeating ones it is extremely rare for one of the 'regulars' to be one of the ones that instigate that topic. I find it remarkable that different people in the absence of stimulation can come to the same conclusion with the same points of contention. The last part is going to be a bit too. A lot of other 'regulars' throw up their hands when people bring up a topic not realizing that the person bringing it up usually has, at most, one post in this topic across it's entire life.

Anyways on the assumption that you haven't read the thread, a task I understand is remarkably daunting given the length and history, I should probably being by setting up how others feel and what I do or don't agree with. Not every complaint is one I mirror after all, and this individuality gives a tiny bit of perspective. That perspective being that there is absolutely no way in hell anybody is still reading this garbage I'm typing right now. I'm going to free style a bit. Just know that if this paragraph was overly long that was an intentional decision to go back and fuck it up some more. I've just been rambling on and on while I have a documentary on the tv.

When things go on for a long enough time it creates a bit of an issue that I'll explain later. I think if you've followed along with the thread thus only some parts of the problem is brought up. But, I think there are other things which that usually don't get said. I think I'll make the ending abrupt. These things, I think, if regularly mentioned, would help get the point across as to why some people could be put off. I'm not sure if it's my place to make assumptions. You know what they say about assume, you know?

Assumptions are pretty killer.
All to often it's easy for a person to accidentally slip into thinking they know more than what they know. For instance if you see a line of text you could think that you know the type of person who typed it, what they're like, what fetishes they like, so on and so forth. That's partially true for this topic as well. It'd surprise you to know that I've only spent 5 minutes thus far on this bullshit all for a gag I know for a fact won't hit. Adding sentences to help illustrate a point that doesn't exist. As a result it's better to curb your assumptions so that they don't get in a way of opinion. As the saying goes, assumption makes an ass out of you not me.

Opinion is probably the mosst important part. It's more common these dayss for people to mistake their subjective opinion for objective fact. As a matter of fact, this reminds me of the time I spent idling away with friends discussing inane nonsense that we're equally uninformed about. Then we'd come to a conclusion and weigh our 'head-canon' against each other. There's no right or wrong in that scenario, it's just an ego check and using dumb mans logic to be persuasive.

I have read this entire thing.
