Giant asterisk if the content is written by SKoW though, they were able to make the concept of "Undersea Fortress filled with Shark Futas" boring.
The majority of that fortress is for group sex and voyeurisms.
Only SKoW could write an Asexual shark without literally any other character traits that define her personality beyond her sexuality. SKoW may have had range before but this seems like the default setting now.

Porn is halfway persuasion and imagination and SKoW is certainly lacking in trying to pitch appeal.
"I'm the group sex writer!" In a game in which three times over it's tied for bottom 3 in votes.

I have a question for the thread that I genuinely want to hear out, think about throughly about, and answer. If you were in Savco's shoes and u were given the plot point, lore, and characters up to this point how would you develop CoC2?
You have put yourself in their shoes, so no fantasy budget or fantasy writers added. Just you and their own reality and have to dev it with their resources and tools.
I wanted to make a much bigger post (you'll see why that wouldn't have been a good idea once you expand that spoiler).
But going through my history there's nothing I could say or explain that I haven't already and I don't have the spark to make a more different retread so we'll skip deeper explanations and do lighter touches.
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Mind you this is all a hypothetical.
I still think I'll probably be active in whatever the TiTS modding scene ends up being (unless there isn't one) when it finishes. Either through time, effort, or, if that fails, money.
Can't say the same for CoC2.

Fix the maids
Yes it always comes back to maids with me.
I would take every single maid interaction SKoW has ever done and slingshot them into the trash can. I would then pay B or Gardeford a sizable commission to add maids to the Wayfort. With a few key features
  • Hallway sex
  • Throne sex
  • Desk sex
  • Bed sex
  • Hallway teasing
  • Throne teasing
  • Random Fembang
  • Directed fembang
Also expand the staff; a butler and a pantler.
No longer would I see the infinite potential of maids be squandered.
Also a head maid to add an actual unique NPC (in the absence of individual unique maids) to put a face on more intimate actions.
If this game had this level of maid content I might let it take up my hard drive space. Instead of deleting it between times when I feel like reminding myself that nice things are a power fantasy.

There are random interactions between npcs at the Wayfort, adding some random stuff while camping would make a world of difference

The usually cold and composed Kiyoko suddenly acting all possessive and horny to drawn the champion's attention to her and your other companions reacting to that, Cait wants to join in but but Kiyoko bares her fangs making her jump like a scared cat, Arona would whistle, Brienne would wonder if she looks the same when the champion spends too much time away from her, I don't know, small stuff that works and opens the door for the real drama that comes later. There are already plenty of parts with Etheryn and Arona doing buddy/sex stuff and that mostly works, at least for me. That kind of things gives you the idea that they are not only sitting around in silence, waiting for your input while you do stuff because they are part of the adventure, you're constantly walking around with at least two characters and there's no friction which seems weird
Yeah the immediate party love is very lame. They don't beef or even disagreements, they only have this false feeling chemistry that forced. Even in the Avengers they beef for a good portion of the movie then gradually learn to vibe with each other, there are many a jrpg group that does this.
Hacks gonna be hacks I guess.

It's one of the biggest arguments that the power fantasy whine from the devs is serious projection. Their power fantasy is making your PC comparatively powerless (e.g. to create or manage or control inter-party tension), so if their outcome demands the party gets on despite writing pages upon fucking pages about how the "lore" would suggest some serious issues, then they'll chuck the lore out.

Like, If you take a step back and look at too may interactions in this game from Savin or those who think like him, it boils down to "Here's the outcome I want, I'll write backwards to get it". Compared to "What would this character actually do in a situation, given the writing I have already established?". Throw in a lot of openly "I did this to fuck with people I didn't like from COC1/That forum/This forum" and behold, the ouroboros of hate.

That's why I went on that rant a while back about how I just hate the way the people who write for this game treat people who get booted out. It's some cruel cultist stuff, and it's all predicated on keeping the game going (and the scam is not the game, the scam is that the game isn't an extension of the writers power fantasy). And again, blah blah blah I'm some anonymous know-nothing on the internet projecting my own projections into a videogame forum.

But its why I keep checking this thread - yeah maybe it is repeating the same points over and over, but I 100% think that most people in this thread are way further along seeing now plain nasty that crew is now than they were 200 pages ago. Plus, the fact is anyone can check my post history on this forum and see I'm a lot less hateful of a person than anyone writing for this game writing pages and pages about how the contributor they just kicked off the ship sucked actually to anyone looking to praise or defend them.

There's a lot good ideas here, especially the bit about community building and how corruption should scale and progress tho it'd have nuance when it comes to the content. The bit about having outside peer review is also a great counter the echo chambers that tend to form around fetish games.
The combat revamp sound very nice, being able to go solo would be great.

It's their power fantasy bro, we're just living in it. Worse is like you said, they treat ppl like shit if the don't agree to toe the line on "party" opinions and if not you get demonized and ostracized. They might use u to "salt mine" which is just their barely disguised hate fetish.
