I don't understand why the creator hates mod support. I'd argue mods can help add to the game and help improve its longevity, as they can add features to the existing game, cut or otherwise, or overhaul the game to be a completely new experience. Look at Doom and Half-Life for example.

Because the game is run mostly by control freaks who don't want people tampering around with their oh so precious OCs.

That's what I like about Jstar, he knows what the crowd wants. I have no problem sharing, but I much prefer being the one who opts into it. Player agency and all.

The act of something foreign thing laying eggs in a person disgust me, if you don't find that weird good for you. But me, that makes me breakout in goosebumps, to me it's like saying the xenomorphs are hot asf when the do the whole face-hugger thing. I'm just not that level of degenerate.

Really you? I seen some say it's weird, even the Chubbster found it weird but accepted it.
It's just that I think the origins of the fetish came from incests and parasites laying their eggs in other creatures and those young eating their out or living inside them just creeps me out.

Most kink complaints on this thread are about futa, at least in the last 100 or so pages, so just about any and all complaints about other kinks or fetishes in the game are lost to me, because I sure as hell ain't reading all 2k pages on this thread

I will add that as far as the facehugger example mentioned, I much prefer the pron presentations where they make it much more sexual and nonlethal, over the death sentence that its depicted as in its home media. So I understand why people wouldn't like it since for most they'd obviously have the chestburster scenes come to mind first and foremost lol

I read some of the old threads, I get that futa ain't loved because it's so over represented but they make it out to be the main reason why the game is lame.

I kept thinking they should've made characters like Garret, Eryka, Liaden, Ahmri, Lusina, and Shar companions, and even bring back Berwyn to companion status.

Just tried the Drifa corruption content for the superfetation. Got to the scene to trigger that content and I suddenly found myself wondering, "Funny, this doesn't sound like the same character, and why is the writing so overly verbose and pretentiously up itself?"

The man is just incapable of handling other people's characters without turning them into Kiyoko, and his repetition problem is just getting worse. Someone must have told him "No Baby-bags" so instead he just repeated "Wolf-Wife" at least once every paragraph.

This game has been out for what?, six or seven years?, most games with that longevity have a modding community keeping them fresh and pumping more fan content, but not this one, instead, there's a process to add fan content that can lead to nowhere and only from time to time, we know about people who got to participate

That in itself would be fine and dandy if it weren't from their own writers leaving and them abandoning whole arcs, characters, quests and many other things. We constantly jump from the next big thing to the next big thing cutting corners and padding stuff with one time characters

There's a declive in quality, but patreon money won't dry, so they don't need to care, yet

They don't need to acknowledge any mod, ever, just let people play with their already public toys. A simple, "we only work in the main game and know nothing about the mods", should suffice to let everyone know that every weird fuckery added by the fans is out of their control

I just can't accept that professionals and semi professionals writers are so afraid of online random putting out his own original script that might do nothing, that's just petty

Got to try the mod maker, failed to install it last time so I have to try again, maybe implement the super fun quest for my named kids as practice or a full ntr mod for Cait, in which she actually leaves the champion for someone else let's say... One of her dad's friends who is into the whole, "sacred harlots are my waifus" scheme, but was actually a cultist all along, and evil kitsune know as "The Watcher" who hates the champion being a nobody who now is protecting the world, and you fight them, to death (final move is Brienne and Kiyoko using the power of eternal love for u), I'm pretty sure they would let me do that one. Savin if you are reading this and you're reading this you know it's a good idea call me

Well how much money is made through commissions and requests? Not saying it would hit them hard or not. But since this game is lotta text with some pictures. And the internet is home to plenty of decent writers and artist that got a story to tell. If enough folks had gotten into modding this game. Especially in the free and or cheaper variety. That could start to syphon off funds and attention. When I think of CoC1, it ain't the base version. And if this game got similar treatment. I doubt I would be thinking base CoC2 and it's content. Plenty of talented people around to take the reigns and do what they won't.

They are more then likely protective of their OCs. But I imagine competition using their own game crossed their mind.
