The setting itself isn't very interesting either. It's basic generic fantasy fare with nothing unique except the technology level has been buttfucked lower in some places for some reason and seems arbitrary as fuck. So arbitrary that the artists don't usually draw the metals as bronze as a result. They really think they've written high art but I've seen trash isekai with better world building.

I have an issue with this. I actually wish it was just boring vanilla fantasy... they tried too hard to make it special and it just fails on both aspects. The setting just feels alien sometimes since they refuse to rely on foundational fantasy tropes, something the first game (in my opinion) managed to balance out to some degree while still feeling fresh where it mattered.
I think the biggest example is Starhome. We got bikini bottom before a single fleshed-out goblin character in the fantasy setting. Cooked up an entire tileset, a convoluted-ass way of accessing it, populated it with some of the most inconsequential characters imaginable, and gave the player absolutely no reason to ever go back there. Phenomenal, really.

Hirrud bimbo content at long last. it's been 80 years but now a character is truly feature complete. I hope we can catgirlify him for irony but cowgirl is fine too. Just hope it's more interesting than Gardeford's usual stuff. Zo looks better with locks instead of that weird ass lucario hair thing. I'm a little surprised they gave the gargoyle lady new content after all this time. It's better than the last few updates I think but the bar is buried in the challenger deep so that may not be the compliment I think it is. Yes I am bored enough to check the site what else am I supposed to do when all my friends are asleep or fighting for lives against blursed dogs?

With that go and visit that wasp chick in the hive, the one doing dark and sexy witchcraft, talk with her, and because Lyric is a kobold and they are related to dragons you get the option to let this chick experiment with Lyric, say yes give them some time and you'll get a free item space and a big lizard

Generic fantasy vanilla stuff works great when there's an honest attempt at making something fun and the understanding that, in order to make something different, to add a spin or a twist, first you need a familiar canvas to work with, can't subvert what isn't there, my beloved Succubus Tamer 2 is proof of that

I just, don't get it. I am an incompetent moron, but making up combat abilities is probably the easiest thing I've ever had to come up with, the smut and dialog is way harder. You have the character, you have the armaments they have, you have their personality and how they fight, all in your head so figuring out what they do with them is fucking easy. Maybe I'm just a weirdo that likes to imagine anime fights in my head or whatever. Figuring out balance numbers literally just requires playtesting, something they should be able to do in their game rather easily considering they don't have to worry about horniness/morale/resolve/whatever as its own resource anymore, so status effects are literally the only thing that can throw a wrench into it.

Being locked behind that quest is the real deathblow, it could be a cavalcade of content down there (it isn't) and it still wouldn't be worth it because you essentially have to push to it through an area that is functionally a dead end on the map to get a the biggest slog of a quest before you can finally swim down a hole or whatever.

Point #1

Please focus on the story.

I've been playing this game since 2021, and haven't even seen an update for 'In her footsteps' in over 4-5 years, and i would think we'd be in the middle point right? Nope. Just stuck with pointless dlc that most of the time hit. I wanna ask if the writers can split work, but I kinda have a feeling they don't wanna do that. We only have act one of the main story, and I started playing since 2021. Let that sink.

Honestly in all respect Savin, I would like to play the main story, and not do side quests.

Point #2

More PC agency

We don't have a lot of player agency, and this is further backed up with The observer's writing, which many people complain about the kitsune walking all over players, and the players themselves being too submissive when they wanna be dominant. In the discord, I think I remember Savin (or someone) saying they were gonna make a system in the next game that'll change that, but I have my doubts. Mainly because CoC and TiTs remain unfinished. We really don't get to call out the kitsune, let alone the Seven. I feel like calling out the Seven for taking souls and doing little to nothing about Kassyra and her demonic invasion is honestly infuriating.

The one think I liked was punching the drunk kitsune onto his ass. Felt therapeutic, and like my own decision. Honestly, if we can get more of THAT in the quest/main story, I would love it. But I feel like I'm playing lewd deltarune most of the time because my choices apparently don't matter much.

To also clarify, I dont wanna fight the Seven, but call them out for consuming souls, and having a strained route. (Okay MAYBE just fight one of the seven.)

Unfuckable NPCs

I understand completely that some npc shouldn't be fuckable, but goddammit i want to fuck/dominate Gweyr, Garth be damned. A quest where you intentionally fail by corrupting an NPC would be nice. They're could be so much content that you guys can do with a darker or neutral path. The main one i gotta complain about is Kavi. Like bro, I wanna mating press her, or let her ride me, not be coddled (even though i kinda like it a bit). I also feel like some people gatekeep that type of content from characters, but I believe it defeats the main thing of CoC2. Which is to corrupt or be a goody two shoes. I kinda think Savin and the rest of the cast lost the plot for a bit.

Marefolk and the lack of "Chicks without horsedicks"

Honestly this got me a bit heated. Because now I gotta be frigging wary and save before going in for the secks with a hot horse chick. Nine times outta ten, they are a futa. I dislike futa content (And no, I'm not dropping the game because I dont like one fetish. That'd be like me dropping Splatoon 3 cuz salmon run is a bitch to play. While the rest of the game is peak), and although I understand most like it, it's the fact when you do enter into a sex selection with them, you cannot exit some of them. The only way to is exiting the game and restarting it. And honestly it wouldn't be a problem if I could see the fat fucking bulge in their pants by their bust. Sure some are obvious, but Edessari & Wredi are the most annoying part that made me say "That makes LITTLE to no sense. I didn't fuckin know!" Cause they had no visible bulge. Honestly, contrary to popular belief, I want a new horse girl without a dick dawg. Also the horse cock stuff needs to be tone down a wee bit. Maybe here and there on a occasion, but slow it down.

I have to hard agree on that apart of Red Mommy trying to steal my soul why is she considered a threat this world with her corruption plans as you said the world is already corrupted she only brings forced transformation but that also was already here with alchemy and reagents and forced trans. of people was most likely present as well.

Even MC Pure 0 corruption starts as a virgin which is weird for that world and technically that MC have constant thoughts like after fights " I could take this big boy for a ride " How MC with mindset and world like that was a virgin up to this point I don't know.

Maybe there's more to it I will see but for now if Red Mommy would be a Angel that would want to purify this world would be much more fitting dunno.
