I think we're talking about 2 different events. I think you're talking about the celebration(that Kas can attend) that happens at Ryn's coronation. I'm talking about the date from Ryn's menu if you talk to her after she becomes queen. Yall can go on a date in the city and meet different companions doing some sightseeing depending on where you select to take her on the date and which companions you brought.
Ay yeah, that's makes sense. I'm actually not sure if I've read through that to this day. Need to do that.
It did always feel kind of weird how disconnected the PC's party felt when at the tavern, just everyone off in their own little corners doing their own thing only really interacting with each other when they're having a threesome with the PC. They all have mostly postive things to say about the other companions but never interact giving that sense that this isn't a team brought together to fight evil and bond but just a group that only stick around because they know the PC.
It's a tavern! The fact that we can't just sit around and drink and chat is crazy.
In my opinion, in any game with a party, a bare minimum baseline is that you should know what every member of the party thinks of every other member of the party, without explicitly asking (and it's embarrassing how many full fat games don't even reach this low bar.
And it's not like they didn't already write out most companions theoretical relationships with other companions!
Brint thinks Berwyn is fun to tease and very protective of his hat (back when you could ask Brint about Berwyn iirc)
What kind of sociopath writes that down and then doesn't immediately write a scene of Brint playing keepaway with Berwyns hat while the bratty dog yips at him?
