Reaction to new patch point by point:
- Great, more tobs slop for a character that'll have one unique baby and then just end up like Kiyoko, Rindo, and Meira. Literally forgot she wasn't one of his kitsunes until I read the bottom line. She looks like them, acts like them and has nothing "wolf"-like, in her behaviour.
- Someone realised summons are useless, but still didn't bother playtesting enough to realise how to fix them. Powers are just better.
- Pointless situational tweaking which lets them pretend the game has depth. How often are you going to face a foe that both burns and freezes? Ah, probably the next boss they might get around to adding.
- The what? (Checks stats)... Really? Okay...
- Bet this one doesn't stick, they'll forget and screw it up soon enough.
- That was a thing? Why on earth was that... well, at least they fixed it.
- Great... more trash in my inventory I have to sell after walking five tiles... hooray...
- Ah, making the game blander and simpler, someone has been studying at the feet of Mr Howard. Next logical step is of course just to remove the background and race bonuses all together. I mean, it's not like the PC has any real significance to the story, it's just clutter at this point.
In short, yawn, I'm going back to bed.
