Honestly, I kinda took the place from the first game to be pretty shit as it was anyway and that the main character's job was to try and unfuck things so that there was a future to that shithole. Which is why I had him burn every corrupted glade, kill basically every demon he came across (except for like a salesperson or two, place needs an economy after all) and essentially make a wall of imp skulls.

He was basically Vlad III from Fate when it came to battling demons. They can't fuck everything up if they're busy being a skewered corpse.

And given all that, it's a good moment to remember that somehow there's a romantic route with a goddamn futa demon on the sequel at a place that's somehow less and more shittier than the previous one.



Y'know, I'd give a shit about that if I cared about whoever the hell that guy is and whoever the hell he fucked on a dream.

But please, we clearly need more characters to throw around the names of. Lest this shithole won't be able to field a gridiron team one of these days.

Savarra was doomed since before, can't fix that

I'm sure there will be a third option about the power of love or something like that because, redemption route. They'll probably put the best outcome in that ending, something like, non demon Kasyrra bringing technology and stuff like that into the world, but the place still being what it is, a massive orgy of death

I think it just clicked with me what the difference in 'vibes' comes from here.

I do not engage with any sexual content involving Eubicha, so when I introduce her to Kaly there is no sexual ties between me and Eubicha. For a character/player who is more of a dominant or switch, I can understand that the vibes may be different, as you are then actively offering a submissive who you have sexual relations with up for Kaly to dom herself. For me and my PC, since we've never fucked, she is just a friend I am introducing to Kalysea to have a threesome with.

From my perspective (subby fem) it feels like a waste of the characters to not give them scenes with Kaly, since otherwise I'd basically never engage with them sexually.

I hope that makes more sense now.

Edit: Except Eubicha's bad end, that's pretty hot, but not canon to Eubicha x PC of course.

First off, kill both Kasyrra and that occultist looking motherfucker that shows up every now and then. The latter is the more active corrupting force around at the moment and the earlier is the main source of corruption. Once both are out of the picture, we've contained the most aggravating corruptive forces around which leave only pockets that can be handled with in due time.

After we're done with that, we go convince the deities of the shithole to do their job, either by word or by beating them up until they're looking worse than TiTS' bloat art... except for Mallach, of course. Him we kill, erase from the timeline, full FGO Olympus style, because fuck him and his cult. If Cait gets in the way, we send her to the Styx. Once we have control of the deities, we go slash whatever remaining pockets of corruption are around and we therefore deliver the shithole to a new age of purity albeit under strict rule so they don't fall back into shit on their own.

CoC2 threw me for a loop with how casual people switched up. Some NPCs are super sweet on you, that in any other situation. Means we about to get all lovey and dovey, go steady, maybe even.... hold hands. Oh, how scandalous! And you sometimes can get them things. But that don't necessarily mean you won't find them getting dicked down or dicking down someone else. Or see some dialogue hinting at it, if not outright telling you they got filled up. If you not one with what this game is. Shit does have ntr/cucky vibes. And sometimes it can come outta nowhere. Talking about one topic and suddenly it shifted to how they got taken to pound town. Essentially Just because they saying yes to you. Don't mean they saying no to everyone else the game. And I'm not gonna lie, it did make me feel some type of way at times.... but that was when I was still innocent. I'm now a hardened person to this world.

Not to beat a dead horse, however fun it might be.... fuck it! Let's beat it off since it's instantly recognizable! Azzy and Liaden (or insert whatever NPC pairing you want). It's obvious how the writer meant for it to be taken. It's obvious how the writer wanted you to take it. The world itself does easily support it. Don't change how some folks ended up taking it. Don't help that they try to mix a lot of vanilla dialogue with whoredom. So the whores talk like non whores. And you may end up seeing/stumbling upon unexpected whore activity... at least until you stop being surprised. Everyone a bussdown unless shown or stated otherwise.

The weirdness in tone is obvious, it begins early. Cait tells you she's not one for single person relationships. The way she frames it is that she's some kind of exception - but she's not. Everyone is like that. Her 'warning' is at odds with what makes sense in the world, because theres no actual reason, from what we've seen, for her to tell you she isn't monogamous. Almost noone is.

This continues all over. Almost every time you get married, its mentioned that your marriage isn't binding for sex and that [this specific person or race] doesn't see marriage that way - but EVERYONE does that. There's like 1 or 2 relationships in the game I can think of that aren't open relationships. Maybe one, it might just be Garth and Gweyr.


So all this stuff is directed at the player outside the game, not the avatar in the game, and it creates a very confused tone. You can have romance and open relationships, there's no reason you can't! But the writers are trying to tailor in different directions and the overall effect is muddled. For instance, all the really lovey dovey waifu types are exclusive (Drifa, Kiyoko, Brienne, etc) which gives off the impression that, by comparison, the ones who are still banging other people don't care about you as much. Again, this is something that could be navigated! These things aren't incompatible. But...its not.

I think thats the cause of a lot of problems. It goes back to taking more time to establish characters.

You know what would help the Azzy-Liaden thing? A scene beforehand establishing that Azzy is *lonely*. Out here doesn't operate like her hive and she doesn't have the network of relationships and support she has inside the hive. Establish that their relationships are often fluid and between groups of people and she really misses that vibe. Then BOOM, she meets Liaden, and it flows naturally from a problem that was already established.





Then you could have a character side quest where you go to different places in the game world and seek out more people to join Azzy's polycule/harem/new hive, buuuut I'm just spitballing there.

I do recall something mentioned by Ahmri's father when you get married . About telling the champ to be open to the idea of her potentially finding others. Which honestly threw up red flags. Because I thought some fuck shit was coming. But it's obvious they prefer to leave things open. If they ever need to go back and insert some good old fashioned fuckery. They've already laid the groundwork of we already warned you so don't get mad. Plus.... they just a bunch of freaky ass people.

Azzy situation could've been handled better. By anyone with an IQ above a single slice of french toast.
