Since Earth Elemental isn't included in the count for sexable characters...that doesn't really make any sense.
Okay? So why did they include it at all?

The only plausible answers are as follows:
A) Being a spastic data purist.
B) Intentionally showboating their exclusion procedure.

If the former is true, the entire spreadsheet can be dismissed out of hand as an improperly-weighted collection of asinine points.

If the latter is true, it constitutes a deliberate breach of good faith. You don’t gallivant around over how gracious you are for… doing the right thing in data collection.

I think the former is more likely, given who produced it; the data is too pure to draw any adequate conclusion from. Look at me with a straight face, and tell me Lupine Scout #1 counts just as much as, say, Evelyn.

In fact, how about this: go through that spreadsheet, and tell me how many of those numbers are nameless mooks with one or two scenes, and how many are proper, full-fledged NPCs. Then we’ll see what the ratios we’re dealing with are.

Go on. I’ll wait.

It's an NPC counter. It counts every NPC, period. Why would the Earth Elemental, an NPC, not be in it?

It's a collection of statistics, not an argument.
I’m going to be generous and assume you’re intelligent enough to read more than one line, which still leaves the rest of my statement unanswered, and my point unaddressed.

You’re correct in that it isn’t an argument, and instead raw data; but it’s presented (frequently!) as an argument. You cannot draw accurate conclusions from unrefined data in most cases, and this is no different. Any argument presented alongside nothing more than the un-weighted numbers is fundamentally meaningless as a result.

I mean YOU chose to come back to said "SHIT thread". That's been doing the same stuff since I've been here. Which was months ago, plus years longer. Like what? You thought that today of all days. Something would magically change? Hell, be the solution you want to see. You're more then welcome to take point and steer us to the promised land. If the status quo ain't working for you.
I mean, it could be worse, it could be a repeat of Savin's PR guy going circles and circles on why we were wrong and they were right.

He is someone to me :(
True, he's someone to me too. Not someone I'm planning on dealing with, not my tastes, but congrats, man.

Hey, just wanted to say: Congratulations on getting Odoacer in.
I appreciate that his expansion focused on his self estem issues and him overcoming them.

Glad you liked him.

I consider him complete. Maybe I do some additional scenes if I get the feeling, but for now I'm focused on other projects. That doesn't stop others from writing scenes for him.

Accurate conclusions? The conversation we are having is *exclusively* about raw data. This was posted in response to a claim that there are OVERWHELMINGLY majority futa in this game. There's no
"extrapolation" necessary or useful here.

What you're doing is attempting to start a completely different tact, namely "w-well what about content".

We've done this. Everyone that's been here longer than 5 minutes knows that we're done this. The exact same cadence every time.

Someone claims the numbers are in favor of futa. The numbers are given.

Goalposts move to content and number of updates; someone actually looks at the number of updates and content and, oh look, it stays exactly the same.

Eventually goalposts get moved down to subjective factors like character quality and it devolves into nonsense.

Eeeevery time. And I'll pass on that this time around.

I addressed the only part of your post that actually related to the issue that was brought up: numbers.

How very droll. I’ve done no such moving; I pointed out that the data itself is too flawed to serve as an argument, as it all-too-often is used anyways.

I couldn’t give less of a rat’s ass over the subjectivity of quality; I’m here to point out what has received more dedicated time and attention from the writers.

However, I can see you also harbor about an equal amount of interest in actually addressing that, instead preferring to proclaim “DURR, MOVING THE GOALPOSTS AGAIN” in lieu of actually engaging.

Fortunately for the both of us, I really don’t care enough to spoonfeed the antidote to blissful delusion to gooners on a porn piracy thread; lord knows I do enough of that at my day job. If you truly believe those numbers are accurately representative of the sum total of the game’s parts, be my guest.

If you need me, I’ll be occupied in the world outside of fantasy.

Huh. Weird.

Do...do you not actually know what goalpost moving is?
Mm. A mental note to rescind my earlier assessment of your literacy.

As well as a brief erratum: citing the earth elemental as an example was likely a poor example. As such, allow me to spell my original point out for you.

I do not believe that the spreadsheet was created by Alypia in good faith. The use of widely disparate depths of content in an alongside-each-other format feels like a deliberate misrepresentation. Or, I could be mistaken (A strong possibility!) and Alypia is simply a resolute numerical purist.

The chief issue I have with the spreadsheet (which I declared IN MY ORIGINAL POST, for the record) was that people frequently cite it as ‘objective proof’ that the scale of content is skewed very strongly away from futa content, (and sometimes, not that skewed away from males.)

The aforementioned notion is not a conclusion that can be reached from the data alone. Whether or not the sheet was compiled in good faith or not, it is regularly used in bad faith. The sheer scale of content in the game is not remotely close to being accurately represented by a data sheet that counts one-off combat encounters in the same category as a companion, or an NPC, or even the primary antagonist.

That is why I invited you to pore over things yourself. Not to move goalposts as you claim, but in the pursuit of accuracy. Rather than dragging your knuckles along the floor to dismiss this before continuing your parroting of the ‘Savin-approved’ numbers, I implore you to actually calculate some conclusions. I’m not saying there’s more futa than female, and never have; only that the ratios are NOT what that sheet would imply. Any scientist worth his salt can tell that.

Fucking this. It's unbelievable how the same thing happens every single time. It's an old song of pure delusion at this point, people just want to get off on being angry.

Even if we were talking about overall content, who the fuck actually think futas dwarf normal women? AHAHAHA. Really, the only futa receiving more consistent updates lately is the character Wsan is being paid to write. Where's my fucking Evelyn the spergs like to complain about so much? Nowhere.

Would someone share the android download please if you have one
Someone shared the update a few pages back, android included.

Anyway I just played through the new patch content.

We atlast got the Ryn uncaging by Lumia. And it was fine. Nothing crazy. Just typical Ryn cuteness.
But I do agree with the one guy from their website

Can't really comment on the thigh crushing scene, just because I don't have that fetish so for anyone who is into that I am open to hearing your opinions.

Odoacer is a man. That means he already lost the attention of like 90% of people.
Remember it's not gay if you both have socks on.
But for real, even for non male lovers, atleast their is character progression. Something to do, even if you are not into males.
Take notes some staff writers, which names I won't mention here.

I normally wouldn't mention the new busts, but the new Cait one is perfect. Perfectly represents our cat priestess.

How exactly else would you present this? It is literally a list of NPCs. Do you expect an asterisk by them to denote that they have limited content? Do you know how much of a hassle that would be, besides the fact it would almost immediately be out of date since, as has been mentioned many times, they love to update random NPCs?

What exactly is "in bad faith" about a list that says exactly what it is?

Absolutely not, for obvious reasons.

1. I'm not going through a list of SEVERAL HUNDRED NPCS, many of whom I have no idea who they are and evaluating them all for content. And you knew that before saying it don't pretend for a single second that request was in good faith.

2. More importantly as I've said...WE ALREADY DID IT. Several times several ways. At one point we pored over 6 months of updates to point out the obvious that there was way more female content in number and individual volume than anything else. Hell, a few pages back the guy who was complaining about "the boy who cried futa" correctly pointed put that while people are complaining yet again in the last several months there has, AS USUAL, been a relatively small amount of futa content, dwarfed by female. weve approached this issue in different waysn at different times and I don't feel like doing it again. There's a search bar; have fun.

3. And here's the most important part: as usual, when objective data is provided, the response is to doubt it...without any time counter it.

A short reenactment of how it always goes:

Person: here's the numbers

Futa hater: those numbers don't show the whole picture!

Person: do you have...any form of any kind of data against it?

Futa Hater: ....VIBES.
