I think I still remember what his "plans" for a third CoC-style game not in that 'verse would be even assuming he didn't make that VN but it was no doubt a longass fucking time ago and likely only in the OG Fengame server which was more cluttered to go through than my damn room on a lazy day from what I remember. And I'm banned there via my own voluntary violation (don't ask), so not like I can try to scrounge that place to check. I think it came before the VN idea and he was gonna shoehorn the protag/PC in that idea as mandatory futa to play as. There's other details I'm not sure about that I swear I still remember but can't say for certain yet, so I can't say if what I recall is still accurate.

Aren't all the old Fenforums in turbo hell now? Your crimes are sealed by the courts. He mentioned it on the forum on rare occasions but never elaborated outside of it being a VN with a predefined protagonist, usually in response to whenever the lack of focus on TFs and the janky combat was brought up. Whatever specifics were in the old server probably were just explanations of that.

What's funny is I don't hate the idea of a smaller story game, I mean literally look at fanfiction and the fact that at its core it's small stories usually done in a universe from a game or movie or whatever media. But Sav. & Co have no good record of being able to really tell a consistent story that doesn't have ragebaiting or whatever. VNs still need you to be able to flex your storytelling abilities AND stay on track, so even if TFs were nuked out entirely, you'd still have to account for branching path ideas around every corner even if they all lead to some form of different ending. Like you can still be railroaded to an extent bc VNs are of limited scope of how they end via the endings you can unlock, but it's still in nature determined by player choice to some level, which the dude and his pet are allergic to.

Savin wants to cut out all the stuff they struggle with but doesn't realize they fundamentally struggle at the writing part of a text based game. Wonder if he'd be the only writer, or let his friends make their own routes, or make and edit scenes to spread the workload.

I think he underestimates how many people are supporting him because it's an RPG, because I doubt everyone will stick around if he drops all pretense and cuts out the RPG stuff altogether instead of keeping in some token effort.

New Vegas is much better written, but the game makes a point of not giving a perfect ending. The closest is the NCR, I'd say, and that's a faction ending. Yes Man turns freeside into a shithole. The courier is like the terminator, but that's most video game protagonists if we're being honest. At least outside cutscenes.

Now, Planescape and Disco Elysium are fucking great. But not really power fantasies. KOTOR2 is also great and closer to a power fantasy than those, but honestly, wish fulfillment will always hold back any work. The best works are about how shit life is sometimes and how we deal with its problems realistically. No space for escapism wankery.

New Legion rule, don't look Ceaser's new friend in the eye or say anything sexist around her or she'll pull heavy weaponry out of nowhere and open fire and walk off the splash damage. The Courier is a fucking cryptid. I usually do House since he pays well and he's probably the least controversial and doesn't create a power vacuum and only causes issues if Primm or the Kings joined the NCR which is avoidable. Also his monitor is easy to mod. I like to replace House with Hatsune Miku.

Skow really likes duos. Which is fair, twincest is wincest. She's inconsistent with quality but the only really bad thing she's done is handling Azzy and Liaden's relationship imo. Skow isn't anywhere near as bad as Tobs or as boring as B and Gardeford to me. Even the Azzy/Liaden thing could've been better handled or at least not as divisive if she had a better team lead and editor to just have her tweak it a little. That feels like damned by faint praise but of the main devs I tend like her characters more and see easy fixes to the issues that may never be fixed but make her look way better compared to Savin and Tobs.

I dunno wtf Garde is on with Eubicha. She's like a platform for voyeurism and cuck content at this point. Thankfully the main characters who do stuff with her have been feminized and made pure in the eyes of the lord, or subjected to the Benny Hill theme as capital punishment on any playthrough I've done.

Correct my lore if I'm wrong but the elves were introduced during Mayternity, a month that primarily is all about you impregnating other NPCs, yet are all about you helping someone else get them pregnant or something iirc. Even when you do get to fuck them, the text apparently has to drive it in that the child very likely won't even be yours. This I had to learn from these forums bc I don't care to touch the game to look for them myself, but from what I've been seeing said about them yes, it's the definition of cuck stuff and the closest to NTR the game has gotten.

Even the CoC2 crowd themselves weren't fond of them at all I believe.

No one gives a flying fuck about the elf twins. If it were Miko and Mai, for example, you'd best believe I'd be on a warpath that would make Khorne himself smile ear to ear. But a bunch of actual whos that literally have zero relevance outside their quest?

Though it was pretty laughable they were submitted during Mayternity. Wow, Savin and Skow, you really shouldn't have. No seriously, they'd be better off with a shitty update in the style of TiTs where it's 90% bugfixes and one sex scene.

I think the biggest issue with the elf twins, aside from their irrelevancy, is the fact they don't commit. It's the same bullshit we've been dealing with since this game's inception. If they're for >You, then they should be drooling over you and forgetting everyone else. If they're suppose to be sluts who let others breed them, then play up into it. But instead, it's yet another case of a character being stuck in the grey zone that satisfies nobody.

Legion sucks, Caesar is a pseudo intellectual, everyone knows it, it's been discussed to death. NCR also sucks they just wrap it in a familiar aesthetic and awesome riot gear. The real answer is to never complete the main quest and just keep installing quest mods.
