I will happily mash on a creators work for entertainment here as I don't have to worry about making people feel a certain way. But, I still feel bad that Bubs got burned that hard. Whatever the reason is, he cut complete ties with the writing team and that's not something you generally a person would do without sufficient reason. Everybody needs somebody in their corner.


That soulbound sucks in general. If you compare the kitsune soulbound to the valkyrie one it's night and day. Large dialogue variations, multiple events that don't happen unless you're a valkyrie, a few chunks dedicated to it's existence, etc.

Comparing that to the foxes where you get slight dialogue changes and some middling powers is rather lackluster. Given the borderline xenophobia you'd think there'd be at least a mini plot thread instead of nothing.

Alypia really did a good job and hopefully won't lose steam.
Kitsune soulbound option is not unlike the kitsune in general.


There's the furry races like Lupines, Marefolk, Leothran or w/e they're called, and Minotaurs.
If we're to raw numbers however? There's far fewer of them than there are kitsune, bees, harpies, elves, and centaurs. All of your party members save 1 wouldn't count either I imagine. Hmm. Never really thought about this. I've always only ever went where the characters with character are.



There's more than Gytha. Hell if I can remember off the top of my head.

Just reminds me back to the days of CoC1 when it'd be easier to list NPCs that didn't take into account multiple genital's and like half of them had unique scenes for being a veritable tentacle monster. Izumi, Holli, Kiha, Helia, Scylla's support group, the forest kitsune, Isabella, Kell- actually you get the point.

Some NPCs added in either of the mods also take into account number and type and alter the scenes accordingly. Though I think most of them were only ever done by community writers though so obviously you wouldn't get that kind of energy here.

There are some good parts of the Valk soulbind but Aly still fucked it up plenty. You don't even become a valk; here's some fake wings and a boob job, congrats. At lest the Shitzune TF actually makes you a Shitzune for whatever that's worth.

Valks don't have a real distinguishing characteristic besides being female and having wings. You can achieve both the appearance of either valk or kitsune by just using TFs. To an extent. The golden wings are limited to valks, afaik. No way to replicate them in game and they have their own unique appearance descriptor.

Though I'll say I'm being a bit harsh from an overall perspective. The TF itself into a kitsune and the descriptors there especially if you have Kiyoko with you aren't bad for the most part. The small changes in a variety of scenes that account for your changes is alright and there IS a decent amount of them both regularly in sex scenes. It's just that after that it's over. A "your eminence" here and there, some scenes with Kiyoko, done.
And as I've brought up in the past, this is something that's competing for the same space of content that will inevitably be swamped with lover Kas' resolution.

If you bond with the trickster your race actually changes to Kitsune, it does not change if you bond to the broodmare. Full Frost Elf with feathered wings and you're still just called a Wyld Elf. The bullshit "anyone can be a Valkyrie" garbage is lame as hell.

Tobs literaly wrote the kitsunes all over, thin-veiled threats from eloquent/polite fox encounter...which makes no sense, why? 2-Good Lord the Empath Vulperine is a discount Kiyoko in ALL THE WRONG WAYS, the breeding sex scene was one of the longest Tobs scenes I've bothered reading (seriously it was like...10 paragraphs a page and 3 pages long? Tobs I don't overdose on Viagra like you do my boy, PP can't stay hard that long!) and that last page? GOD, WHAT WAS HE THINKING?¡

The whole "HuRr DuRr ImMa DeScRiBe EgGs' FeRtIlIzAtIoN sTeP bY sTeP!1!1!" scene was so bad...we're a Gods-damned bronze-age adventurer fucking a STONE-AGE TELEPATH BARBARIAN! If you explore the north area of the windy peaks there's a random chance the Vulperine hunters will spawn with a female leader that is an "Empath" (basically a Dreamweaver born with telepathic powers.)

One thing that was well done in the Sun castle is there is a flying racetrack you can compete in if you have wings. My Wyld Elf absolutely smoked the giant not really a valkyrie at it, though I'm not sure if that was from being a natural flyer or having maxed agility. I assume it was put there for people getting the fake Valk wings though.

Must be agility, I remember my Rogue Catfolk beat her in that track as well and it wasn't a Valkyrie (still refuses to partake in a gender-locked content, I wanna play as male dammit!)

I'm not that anal with futas/dickgirls to call them males. They're males as far as I can tell, with all the he/hims and the appropriate equipment to go with them. For obvious reasons I can't tell you what happens in the 3 scenes available to them since they're all receiving.

Outside of a handful of scenes? No. There's no flying ability to ability either like CoC or TiTS. Every area where flight could be a solution to a puzzle it just isn't. It's cosmetic and extremely seldom referenced just like the rest of your characters appearance in this game.
