I miss those days, especially bridgeposting. The game was a lot more promising, then we saw things become gradually lamer over the years, like the wayfort: from the concept itself becoming tedious and impotent, to its denizens such as the maids being the usual SKoW fare, packed with NPCxNPC for good measure...
Honestly pretty impressive how badly something like the basic concept of a player base/hub was squandered and reduced to a "not Hawkethorne/Frost Hound" NPC dumping ground. Couldn't even get the simple idea of maids or personal guards right.
Not a surprise the thread eventually lost steam and died.
Also, in case anyone wants it, this all reminded me of the old cocg
