As I've said many times, I do hope to get into modding CoC II. I probably will start messing around with the code and learning the ins and outs of it, if only to familiarize myself with how it all ticks. But again, I really am just wanting to see how this ends so that I can finally get an idea of how much of a workload I'll have on my plate.

It's only ever as complicated as you want to make it to be. One very simple mod I have made is replacing every single instance of "Jeez", since as I was last aware, Jesus isn't one of the seven. Silly, I know, but I'm rather particular about small oversights like these.

This can be achieved by a single line of code using the patcher, since it just searches for the instance and replaces it with a string of your choice.

It may be my negativity and headache and this unholy heat talking but I genuinely think they'd take a torch to everything and torment their coders just to protect savin's and tobs's vision for the game.

Savin already said he hates mods, if I remember right, but he's made enough money now I doubt he cares. He even bullied Kitteh into not allowing mods for Helia or Helspawn, and the forums was pretty much the only way to really advertise the mod at that time. You don't get on Fen's Second in Command's bad side there.

It's just, right now, I think they're too incompetent and that's why the modding has been so difficult. Once upon a time he said it was deliberate to make modding difficult, but now... nah, they're just the three stooges of Team Management, Writers and Coders.

This guy was let on the team while Savin basically told an aspiring and earnest writer that what he made was shit btw. Unsurprising really, shitty people love surrounding themselves with other shitty people as long as they're not on the receiving end.

Yup, I mean there's always a chance someone there decides to do something to try and nuke it, but the mod has been available for some time without mayor issues, which is pretty cool

As for the psyop, don't those usually require competence and coercion? Circlejerks (or Hiveminds, whichever you prefer) usually struggle with coercion since they're prone to just kicking people out.

You can plug the old theme back in from a previous version.

If you want to experiment you can just plug in the individual parts that you like.
I haven't tested it but you could probably throw in the entire folder and just replace when prompted and it should work in theory

It is difficult to describe the amount of disappointment i have for this new update and state of the game but allow me to try anyway. 13 years ago I was a poor child coming back from the sweatshop in China on Christmas Eve. I was frostbitten on several places due to my lack of clothes, which my mom had been selling for some recreational "medicines". Dad has told me he will be back with some food but its been 5 years since he told me that but I'm sure its just the traffic.

As i went to bed on that day, i heard a noise from the kitchen and when i went there, lo and behold Santa Claus. For the first time in years I smiled, only for Santa to expose himself and request me to "Pound Santa's ass." It was at this point i can no longer deceive myself, mom is a drug addict, dad was never coming back and a homeless pervert had broken into my home. It was safe to say i was a little disappointed and I would imagine you are too. However, you are only 5% dissapointed as I was when i witnessed the state of the game and the current updates
