It's quite literally just a search-and-replace tool. They already do the funny thing where they change variables between versions, so as long as you work around them, mods are virtually futureproof. Even if you decided to work with them, fixing the issue is as simple as swapping the changed variables between versions, which can be done instantly inside any text editor.

The code is daunting at first, but the process is honestly easy to learn. I have virtually no coding experience and I've done some ambitious stuff just monkeying around with existing code.

But all in all I understand the fear, since it's not unfounded with how toxic their community is.

Honestly extremely valid. It still takes a bit of fiddling with even with A.I, but it definitely makes understanding the spaghetti code easier.
Though from experience there's gonna be a lot of trial and error, in addition to being very specific with it. Took me an hour fiddling with the A.I only for it to turn out that it just misunderstood the problem and was trying to solve some other nonexistent issue.

I never initially focused on who wrote the characters, so when the cute pink haired girl I just donated a lot of money to instantly went to spend it all on whores it caught me off guard. Still like her more than Cait though so I can't say it didn't work... until she was shoehorned into a tutorial dungeon for some reason.

It will always befuddle me how they made an arguably better transformation system for COC2( as far being able to have more control over the end result, and what item changes what parts) but then just DON'T FUCKING MAKE GOOD USE OF IT.

Like what the FUCK was even the point of them making COC2's transformations work different to COC1's or TITS, if you aren't even gonna bother actually fucking adding transformations or anything else that could use it?!?!

At that point, they would've been better off copy pasting how the transformations work in TiTS instead of wasting however much dev time they wasted on changing it for CoC2

While I doubt/hope that the team hasn't gone so far off the degeneracy deep end that they're causing lasting physical problems for themselves, it does take a certain amount of porn brain rot to do what they're doing and loudly complain whenever people aren't 100% on board with their fetishes and OCs. It's the usual "writer's first work" problem of taking every criticism of their writing personally and getting too attached to their OCs, not realizing that nobody is going to be as excited about their characters as they are.
