I do agree with everything else but Nakano is in camp hate boner and we all know how much Tobs loves his generic MC shitsune. Also does the last part count if there are so many other characters introduced who are better suited to save the issue and just don't outside of Savin confirming that even in most bad ends someone will save the world?


I only know Saint Seiya from Jump Force and even then it's because that was when the AI really started to read inputs and ratchet up the difficulty with a Saint Seiya character.

Consider this, those other characters do not matter at all, them being all powerful but at the same time, unwilling, won't change the fact that you're still at the center of the conflict due to the main instigator being fixated on you and that you're taking an active role in all of this

Can't remember which game was, one of these hentai rpg about this girl who had a really strong, brave older brother who was a hero, so she went to other continent and goes through her own adventure to save the world. Now she's pretty much aware that even if she fails, there are plenty of other more competent people who can help, but also recognize none of them is there, that she's the one who can do it, that has to do it. She goes through her own hero journey and comes out stronger and confident in herself now having her own legend and being a heroine herself. In that sense, Savarra won't be lost if you fail, but the world of a bunch of people around the champ will surely end, and that's the tragedy you're avoiding

Saving Etheryn so she can become a queen while also being a magical girl princess also means making sure this girl who was mistreated almost all her life by her older sister won't be hurt ever again, those are the small things that at a global scale don't matter, but the hero, you, gets do to anyway

Himmel didn't get the sword of the hero, he didn't care. Someone had to fight and he was willing and able, someone had to care

Power fantasies and the like, as there are many types of fantasies and wish fulfillment in every kind of genre (lifetime movies guilty of validating a chick cheating on her rich city boyfriend with the richer farm stud at Christmas's sexual rodeo), are not bad per se, and doing an anti power fantasy is something fun, but that has to come from a place of honestly and there's no honesty when your annoyance comes from being bitter at random people

Nothing wrong with agreeing with someone you dislike. Nobody can be all bad or all wrong. Doesn't mean you agree with the rest. It's good to remember you don't have to argue with everything someone thinks just because you dislike the person.

Like i said before, is all about the execution and purpose. Take for example The last sovereign, there are many clone japanese hentai games with the premise of being an incubus king and enslave all the females and yada yada, but then this game use this same genre, subvert the original idea, and now we have deep geopolitics discussions, religion, fucking wars and all sort of things while being a rpg maker game.
My original post about one of the possible endings of CoC2 is because i saw how could be appropriate for the MC to gain such influence and political power to be in the inner circle by the end of the story, Kasyrra always gaslighting us about being special and the lot of things that we got until now, it was all poiting to some ending where the MC become someone important for the realm at the very least.

Quick correction to this, Himmel didn't have the replica made, he was gifted the Replica of the Hero's Sword by a Merchant he helped as a young child, and that was one of the reasons that made him seek to take out the Demon King. And it was with that same replica he started AND ended his journey to end the Demon King( which damn, can't believe a replica sword carried him that far, Himmel was truly great)

That's what I said. I think it's something that holds back the potential of some works, but I definitely think it fits in some cases. Like old as fuck Doom. Not as silly as it is today, but a human going apeshit against demons is still fantastical enough. And I like Fallout, Mass Effect and Dragon Age.

I just don't think not being focused on power fantasy or being against it is the reason the game is so bad. TiTS is a power fantasy and I'd say it has a bunch of problems, despite how much I like it. Notice how people constantly shit on TiTS about futas. It would be the same thing here. There would be something else for people to latch on to. Probably futas, too.

Also her husband and the lover become buddies, like, hole friends, sloppy joe's club

That's her power fantasy, that's what keeps her going. She's rich, filthy rich, whole network channel producing slop non stop and yet she's at her ultimate form when producing sub part softcore pseudo erótica based on the book of another lady going through a mid life crisis

So if this ends with the champ only stopping Kas long enough for the gods or anyone to work their magic or something like that I'll be very annoyed, I might even pirate this game, and never pay for it

Some games like Breath of Fire even have a funny ending if you do beat an unwinnable fight. In fact, I think that was Capcom's thing, because even DMC5 lets you do that.

Wasn't there a scene that was basically Himmel proposing to her and everyone but Frieren realized it? I imagine it'll end with Frieren getting closure and either living on to guide the families of her friends and humanity, or sacrificing herself to save those she cares about but being reunited with Himmel in the afterlife while her legacy and knowledge persist.

Kind of like How Berserk will almost inevitably have a tragic to bittersweet ending, assuming it's ever finished after the author died, Frieren will almost inevitably have an uplifting ending to some degree.

Ah yes, because the quality of the writing within just the main quest alone only fried 2 of my 3 remaining brain cells. Not to mention, I get to see my favorite nurse thanks to Tobs consistently giving me an aneurism.

I only have one brain cell so it got refried. Last major quest update had me questioning what the fuck they've been doing for five years. Balance is still shit, it was literally half of a quest that's buildup to the main quest, and it felt like there wasn't much effort put into it. The only thing of substance added were new powers that are actually surprisingly useful given the horrible balancing. It's why I have zero faith in the ending of act 2 quest being decent.

The update so empty we're not even complaining about it.
