The minute I saw the words, "femboy" I raced to read the patch notes. And the second I read about the "special encounters" I knew this was a load of fucking garbage.
Is it too much to ask for a femboy who isn't a raging slut, isn't forgotten into the parser blackhole, and wants to be our wife!? I'm going insane here at how much they're constantly fucking A and S tier character designs up with their shitty writing.
The mino femboy is a literal prostitute. The chocolate kitsune is a literal prostitute. The autismo harpy is >words >words >words tobslop. The chocolate apple centaur is nothing. The salamander girl in the >dungeon is nothing. The orc skald is basically nothing. Alante was nothing, despite years of hype for her. The elf twins are cuckbait.
I think I can count on one hand the amount of characters that's been released this year that I actually care about.
Side character after side character gets released; are literally just one trick ponies catering to a few gimmicks, get one or two small expacs if they're lucky, then forgotten forever. There's little in the way for characters to step out of their bubble and interact with each other, unless it's a >threesome. No one feels fleshed out anymore, or has drive, or meaningful arcs, or feel any deeper than an A.I. chat bot. Does anyone actually like this design strategy of constant character bloat? Is there even any point to this, other than pad out the game for more patreon bucks?
I'm just tired, bros. This has stopped being funny/anger inducing and now I just feel numb when I see a new character roll out, knowing they're just the flavor of the month and then they'll be memory holed with zero fanfare and onto the next sloppa.
