you can look in the thread yourself to see TOBS and Savin agree with Alypia's assessment here. In regards to the loli/shota stuff, while yes they are angry that people are modding in blacklisted content I've seen no instance of them ever being accused of being pedophiles.

On one hand you're probably right, on the other it seems like the guy dedicated to adding content specifically to "own the haters" would probably occasionally lurk to see if the haters feel owned yet. He's losing his cult's protection though. Emotional protection at least.

For example, if you don't get knocked up with Ryn's kid like Alypia wants, other named characters like Elthara will be FORCED to because Alypia can't stand not having Ryn's kid be attached to someone "important".

I was not expecting to log on and see Alypia slander today but I am all for it.

On top of that, haven't we had writers pop in from time to time. Talking about how their stuff hasn't been looked at and is still stuck in the pipeline? Ain't even just a CoC2 thing, I've seen people talk about it with TiTS too. Again, if I'm quick and my stuff ready to go. But I gotta wait around for you, I might as well just do it myself if I'm capable.

Alypia got in with Savin and wrote what he liked so she got special treatment and never seemed to realize she was getting special treatment others didn't, or that she was the embodiment of confidently incorrect and never knew what she was talking about and treated her headcanons as fact since Savin was in her corner.

No. The "prints" you remember were all Savin's bootlickers saying shit in this very thread without providing any sources. This excuse about lolis and stuff was invented by them to use as a strawman after the fact. Nobody ever brought up that "issue" about mods, ever. Not a single other fucking game had this "issue" either.
It was always about authocratic desire for control and owmership. As Savin didn't own the mods people made, he could not enforce his precious, untouchable, futadom dickgirls onto people. So he was really mad about not being able to dictate his way to others.
That is the only reason why he banned mods, and any other excuse his bootlickers may bring up is them throwing sand into your eyes.

While I do really think I remember at least something to the tone of that, I'm fine with being likely wrong.

That Alypia post, on the other hand, is quite something to unravel.

First of all, what is the issue with replying to people? You're literally using Discord, pin a message about it, tie it into the rules, you'd spend ten minutes tops at that. And even then, it's not like they're doing a whole lot as is, what do you lose from just talking to people normally?

Second to that, the bit about disgusting niches is fucking rich coming from the crew that gave us Adjatha's balloon futa porn.

I personally had three types of things I wanted to throw in, at the very least. Family life in the Wayfort, an expansion pack so you could end the kitsune tree and bring them to your fort for increased advantages (kinda like the Villa on Pokémon Platinum) and additional shit to do in Garth's inn/pub with the locals (like the Tel'Adre pub had on modded CoC1).

None of those are fetishes, all would've been thrown out for being "unfeasible" and "irrelevant". I do think the game would be better with them, the lead wouldn't and I'd be troubled for nothing.

It was (still is and will always be) unfair of devs to complain about general modding when it's quite clear it exists to patch a demand that said devs would rather not engage with for one reason or another while also allowing for people to engage with your stuff instead of, say, creating an alternative.

It's sad because of how avoidable this all feels. You see this shit happen on the regular to alot of games. I didn't care because I wasn't invested, but I am in this. It's like watching someone who has everything they need to make a good sandwich, but they completely ignore those things and add shit only that, like, which would be fine, but they are serving that to the customer. Like shitty work in progress game devs are a dime a dozen now and days. I just wished this happened to another more obscure game, not something that preyed on my nostalgia and gave me nothing for it. It's a damn shame.

The pointlessness of it all also becomes a bit annoying. Savco bitched and sabotaged modding for no good reason as they'll eventually have to move on and let the project be on its own.

The sole way people won't mod CoC2 is if the project dies a death of indifference. And if that happens, Savin, you won't get enough of a backing to start a CoC3 fun-with-futas visual novel.

You know, I've honestly ignored the elf futa on my latest playthrough as it was, not shocked that's a thing. Bit funny of Alypia to take over a character, though... Most of the caustic writers we think of came up with their own OC to empower and all.

What is Alypia doing these days anyway? I do have to thank her for helping with becoming a commision writer. Her advice was always appreciated.
