I mean a lot of people enjoy the content coming out, but they aren't like us who want more player attention and agency. Plus, we all mostly like mono relationships. I'm fine with the occasional threesome but it shouldn't be for every character and there certainly should be scenes of park horse girl getting plowed by everyone else. I find it hard to engage with characters I don't care for or connect with. I find it even harder to like content like this because it just feels odd and my champ would never be cool with it. Still alot of updates are just boring or favor variants I don't like. I just saw under the coc2 update theTiTs update which is more content for bimbo futa Siegewulfe, but still no more for the normal variant. The worst part is that the bimbo variant is arguably better due to dealing lust damage in combat and having more things going for her in interactions. But this is what the people want, or at least what the devs want. It's a good thing other games are out that are well made.

Tell me something I don't know. Every disappointment so far has been more or less predicted as early on as day one, so nothing new here.

None of the criticism or complaints will ever matter though because as always the rabid fanbase will always treat any morsel of content as a gift from god. They're singing praises for a patch that outright cut content that was supposed to be at the core of the game so it's whatever, they're the one's funding this shitshow in the end.
Even then, their opinions don't really matter considering they don't seem to have any of their own to begin with. (no offense)

Holy shit. It finally happened. The long threatened hive quest rewrite is here. And it's just as shit as I expected. For once an update has met my expectations. More corruption content has been removed, a couple of small roleplaying scenes have been added that I'm sure will be worded in a way to make us seem weak as hell, they actually nerfed something that isn't the player which is surprising, and apparently Azzy is more clearly communicated to be recruitable and the method is easier. So just, fuck Moira's effort on the bimbo Liaden art I guess? I'm surprised they let you remove Liaden from the game though. I expected she'd be forced on us still, but maybe she's too divisive still among the main fanbase to warrant that option. It doesn't fix the issues with her writing and weird Azzy interactions but it's something I suppose. Liaden will always exist as a cringe romantic subplot tumor instead of an actual character.


Savin being a snarky POS again and proving why people dislike him. On the upside I learned what a trello is.

I'm willing to not hold it against community writers since most are doing this out of earnest desire instead of obligation. Savin and Tobs and the rest don't get any consideration since they profit off of this game and the work of community writers. They shouldn't be to just say "lol too much effort, don't wanna" when they have paying customers who came in with a certain expectation of content. Although I guess most still giving Savin money like the slop produced by him and tobs.

I'm calling it now, he's gonna make the demons victims of those stupid wraiths he made and declare them a multiversal threat worse than Kas or Lethice. But of course he'll specifically make excuses for the gods so he doesn't have to acknowledge how he shit the bed with them. The woobification of Kas is almost on par with the woobification of shitty asshole characters who never grow but have one on screen bad time so everyone makes excuses for them.

So, here’s what we’re doing:

• Azzy has a new introductory event that now replaces the mandatory Alraune Effigy encounter in the garden. The point of THAT encounter was always just to make sure you saw Effigies at least once before you saw their mom; now the burden of that has been moved into Azzy’s intro.
• The progression to unlocking Azzy’s quest has been completely reworked: you just need to spar her, and she makes that abundantly clear in her dialogue. You no longer need to have cleared the Alraune’s Garden to being the quest, either.
• The Hornet Hive Dungeon has had its level scale adjusted to be at least reasonably possible pre-Alraune Garden. Most enemies within have received a 1-2 level nerf.
• The internal progression of the Hornet Hive dungeon has been reworked to no longer require you leave the hive to go purify the core: Liaden can now do the whole thing at once.
• Pursuant to this, there is no longer an option to kick Liaden into the hornet honey pool. That dead end has been pruned. Instead, there is now an option to send Liaden to a nearby town (which removes her from the game). If you have a save wherein you kicka da paladin, you’ll be prompted to choose between the two options on load.
• Azzy’s actual recruitment text has been cleaned up; the Champion is no longer quite so hypersexual about things if you haven’t already laid Azzy by then! Platonic knight-friend is valid.
• There are new resolution options for the Alraune (note that killing or bedding her yourself is still totally on the table): if you have purified the Hornet Hive before tackling the Alraune’s Garden (which is an option now!), you can tag the hornets in to help contain the problem without killing or bedding the plant-milf.
• … Alternatively if you have finished helping Ahmri’s centaurs, you can tag in the Behemoth to plow the Alraune into submission.

I think that about sums it up.

Like I said I’m dotting my Ts and crossing my Is on the next MSQ dungeon, which is a big chunky boi. (If you’re on our Discord you’ve probably seen me pulling my hair out and cursing Past Savin for how many threads are active throughout Act 2 that all need accounting for or resolution! There’s over 100 pages of post-end-boss narrative alone D It’ll probably be a bit between me sliding the finished product into Drake’s DMs and it releasing, because there’s, well, a lot of dungeon to code, including a whole new minigame! Please be patient just a little longer <3

Nothing new or surprising. They have had several such updates in the past.
First they removed manticore cunt-tails. Then they removed abilities tied to transformations, like Tail Whack. Then they cut Berwyn from companions, removing all the companion content he had accumulated over the years. And now they removed corrupted hive.
1 more year and they'll remove Act2 (all of Khor'minos-related stuff) because it takes too much effort tying up loose ends. And jump straight to the ending which just so happens to be a futadom orgy gangbang, no variations, no opting-out, and no choice but to sit in the chair and watch.
