Their next game is supposedly completely unrelated to CoC, either continuity or thematically.

In fact it won't have a lot/most of the features that these games have held on to, so at least it'll be up front about certain things not existing.

For instance, from what I've gathered, player transformations are out, and the party members will be fixed from the outset.

In fact, it seems we're turning away from being D&D inspired and going more JRPG in general (which is basically what's already happening with this game).

I also recall reading that the MC would have a consistent personality as to try and avoid having them act completely different depending on the writer.

There's just as many bad games with RPGmaker and there are bad games without it. Hardly something to turn the nose up at given some games prove you can be inventive and still run through rpgmaker

I'm pretty sure Kemco is just an AI that randomly mangles piles of RPGs and stitches them back together with no oversight whatsoever.

And I'm not knocking all RPGMaker games, specifically the crappy ones. The ones that not only have shitty, bog standard uninventive RPG Maker combat, but have the bald-faced audacity to not include difficulty levels or auto battle or any way to skip through the crap.

This game? I don't really mind the combat in this game. It's okay. And if I hated it, it has both story mode and autobattle, conveniences some full priced games with dogwater combat don't have the decency to include.

Game does not let me thinker with it to find out how it works AND does not tells me how it works. I FORCED to check internet to find out how it works. And its instant and massive No-no for me. I want to play game, not browse internet.
In other words, as soon as I need to open internet to find an answer to question 'stat_name description underrail' its a fail of a game for not showing/teaching what it do, not mine.
I better launch quake 3 arena and suck some dick there, where I at least understand why I suck harder than a Cait.

man i'm not the smartest person and even i struggle with some games but srsly? Underrail? every stat tells you what it influences as you hover over it. maybe hard games aren't for you and you should go back to Puple Place

It's nothing massive, since TES by itself already features furries and scalies thanks to Khajiits and Argonians, but I remember in one of the interviews he was asked what mods he likes or something and he said he loves the "Khajit companion mod" and it that one is most likely the Inigo mod, since it's the most popular and well made Khajit companion.
