I recommend that you just play through the Kitsune den and form your own opinion, instead of relying on the opinions posted in this thread. A lot of people in here hold years old grudges and this colors their perspective on not just the Kitsune but on CoC2 as a whole.

Elsewhere, Kiyoko continues being one of the most popular characters, and for a good reason. Kohaku is also insanely popular, and so is Rindo.

The backlash in here against the Kitsune is IMHO overblown due to a lot of people in here having a personal beef with the guy writing them, the source of this anger being past drama and the fallout from it that happened all the way back when CoC1 was still being worked on. They claim that the writer created Kinu specifically to "troll" them.

But again, instead of believing either side the best course for you is to just play through the Kitsune content and form your own opinion.

I don't hate the Kitsune content because of the writer, I hate the writer because of the Kitsune village content, specifically Kinu. And not because I want to fuck Kinu or anything, but because you are playing in that area, you move, and then suddenly out of nowhere you're on her POV, that I don't care about, and I get FORCED content with her. This is the first moment in my play-through that I noticed that the MC tends to get into the background of things pretty often, sometimes in more subtle ways, but the Kinu shit and the Wolf mom of the Tavern which name I forgot about is pretty blatant.

If any of the intended results of their writing had shone through the way they wanted it to, the game would be much worse for it as a result. At least we can ignore most of the shit the writers throw at us, but you won't ever escape the favoritism.

This here? this is why we learn all the skills we can while sleeping with Kiyoko's amulet & do all the side missions and...basically just waste time until she get 9 tails before getting her out of the orb: MULTITASK PEOPLE! (also in the Orb her pregnancies are WAY faster so is easier to get her all milfy and sexy)
