Suppose I write a branch to Kiyoko and Kinu where the PC gets the idea that getting them out of the orb through common means will screw things up and so they go on to find an alternative method thanks to... I dunno, Calise (wasn't she meant to be a way to improve Kasyrra or some shit) and as a result, you get Kiyoko's family without the time shift. Cue interactions with folks on the Tree, Wayfort and the starting village which then culminate in a picnic where the PC and Kiyoko eventually beat some random dipshit into oblivion.

Alas, I can't do that because Tobs would throw a shitfit and Savin enabled that. I'd have to go create new NPCs, which lands us at that problem you mentioned. Newer writers are stuck writing new characters or tiptoeing around the guidelines that the old writers have for that character.

Now it might hurt cohesion to just lift that hold in general but we would definitively have less new throwaway characters and you'd have more to do with those old folks.

I feel like anyone that suggests this should add the caveat that anything they write will become Savin's property, with no guarantee of having control of their own content afterwards.

Yeah. And if you sod off, either the work gets thrown to the lions or languishes in wait of someone willing to continue it... and go through all of the process they have to comply to submit bloody anything.

Probably something to do with same sex pregnancies leading to some uncomfortable questions on why you can't knock up Etheryn.

Oh yeah, if you write for the game, the content and characters characters will belong to the staff.

It's to avoid people submitting and later on leaving for a myriad of reasons, leaving tbeir work incomplete. You can't pick it up otherwise.

Yeah, I do my own writing, but the very idea that Savin and co. would own anything that I write, and would have free reign over it, is enough to make sure that I'll never do it. I'd rather sell my shit to the devil.

They already did that. Anyone can write for bubblelord's charackters if they want.
There is already a writer wanting to take of most of his characters including Quintilius.

Pretty much the most succcinct way to put it. The people involved are frankly just not decent human beings. It's always a mask-off moment whenever they have a public feud on discord or whatever too. Always petty and spiteful. There's endless crashout tirades from half the staff screenshotted on this thread here and there..

That probably won't be happening, Savin was against it. And he is the one of the last 2 male comapions.
I'm not particulary fond of quin myself, but thats due to his writing and not because he is a male. Maybe his net writer can improve on what's there.

I distinctly remember most of the corruption content within the first game being incredibly ass. With a very inconsistent pc, going from a mustache twirling villain to an actual monster from part to part to the generally quality of the writing being far worse than almost any other section of the game.

If you didn't like corruption, that's cool.
But that stance wasn't exactly in-line during the times when people were still asking for and writing it.

Never forget Treatment Reaha getting completely shafted, Reaha herself getting abandoned, and then getting the Amazon/Futa piece of said treatment content (to the surprise of no one) for her years afterwards.

Everybody has a degree of "giving a shit". But it's a bit different from what you're insinuating.
If they were fully apathetic then they would have left and we'd be on the next generation of users who post in this thread.

Having engaged with this community, I'd say that interacting with the game in this way, from the point of a critic, is pretty fun. I derive way more entertainment from it now than I ever did when I was a fan.

That said, having played it just now in support of this post, corrupt Ahmri isn't bad.
A shame poor Eubicha keeps up the tradition of having all of her content being dominated by being fucked by horse cocks. Of demon companions, for CoC2 it's not bad. But, the whole casual fuck buddy doesn't tickle me in the same way that the PC's interactions with Ceraph and Vapula did.

Okay can someone clue me in? I know of a few things like tobs starting a salt war with the community. And maybe the Savin Berwyn situation, (where we can't be 100% sure who was at fault because we never got to see the full picture to my knowledge).

But the other writers and stuff members are mostly drama free?

Man Eubicha is such a weird one. I still don't understand what they planned for her. At the one hand we got Eubicha pregnancy, with an updated cute bust and everything seemed so wholesome. But then the main focus for every update after that seems to be just whoring her out to another futataur...
I just want some new Pc Eubicha centric content...
Or is she supposed to be replaced by Alante as Taur wife now. Because waiting for an expansion (which isn't gonna be just adding horsecock) for her seems also in the stars.

I hear a lot of folks hear bemoaning Savin and his ability to lead but Fen seems to have completley it over the years.

Except Fen has mostly retired from managing and writing for TiTS several years ago (in september 2021 to be precise), and Savin became the one in charge.
So, just like with CoC2, you can blame Savin for recent and future TiTS failings.

Need to complete Winter Wolf (convincing Garth's wife to come back to Hawkethorne instead of living in exile in the ice zone past the Winter City). Once that quest is done and you've corrupted the centaur village, the next time you enter the Frosthound, you'll get the message that starts the new Ahmri content.

Well, that's definitely not the case, because I had to go do Winter Wolf before I received the proc for the quest to rescue Ahmri. Tried sleeping in the Frosthound for an entire ingame month, and nothing. Went to do Winter Wolf like some people on the fenoxo.com post's comments said to do, and the instant I walked back into the Frosthound after completing that quest, the "Rescue Ahmri from Tollus somewhere in Undermountain" quest procs.

Long shot I know, but has anyone messed with the save editor enough to know how to reset the the centaur village? Basically story completed but its been years since CV was completed, with only the pure route having any payoff.

Would love to corrupt it instead but dont want to sacrificed/redo the rest of my save.

Fen still manages tits. Savin was a writer for a time and maybe offered input but Fen still holds full control.
Maybe you didn't wait long enough or forget to set up base wayfort (thats what I forgot the first time).
I included my save just before you rescue her.

My Wayfort was definitely set up, as my save has basically everyone you can shove in there present, and you can't have most of them until the Wayfort is set up.

And I literally slept in the Frosthound for an entire ingame month, before heading up to the Glacial Rift to finish up Winter Wolf. After finishing Winter Wolf, I literally got the proc for Corrupt Ahmri rescue the moment I stepped foot back into the Frosthound.
