Found the Patreon devlog from February 8th, it's a bit different from the itch one and has one new picture, so I might as well post it:

I should make a post at least once a month, so here I am!
0.8 still in development, exciting stuff!
So the update is planned to release in ~late February/~early March, but if I need more time to polish stuff and make sure it's nice and hot for you guys, I'll take the time. I'll make a post 2 or 3 days before the release; I won't divulge any info before, so please stop asking me in DMs, haha.
In previous updates, I set myself a very hard deadline, and I had to cut a lot of stuff every time to make it. Which makes you guys at least have something to eat, but some elements are definitely rushed and not as nice as they could be, which seems like a bad trade to me. The best example is the private meeting event when I released them (0.6?); I absolutely wanted 5 stages for the event, but I didn't have enough time, so I rushed the 4th and 5th stages, and it definitely shows.
The main stuff I want to spend more time on is the animations during the events; this is the number one request I get for the game, and I kinda start to enjoy animating, which wasn't the case before. Although it's a crazy time sink, I think it's worth it in the end.
