Great art and solid writing, I really liked blondie, the other are good too. Plus the main character is named after the King, can't go wrong with that.

I really enjoyed the art style and the fact that you put music in your game. Last 5 games i played from here had no music or sound... some games that are like 4+ hours of grinding with no sound is boring. thank you so much

This isn't due to compatibility mode, but due to this developers' Ren'Py being built using Python 2.7
Py2.7 will return 8.2 build 9200 when calling sys.getwindowsversion for everything Windows 8 or newer (including 8.1/NT6.3 Build 9600 and 10/NT10.0 Build 17134)

I just retried the game again after a few weeks and at least 2 graphics driver updates and now it seems to be working just fine.
