Hey guys, it's dev log time again!

As usual during the rendering phase of the development process, I don't have a tonne to report. In the last couple of weeks I've finished a dozen more videos and another 200 renders for 0.11. This is a slightly slower rate for renders than I usually report in these two week periods, but that's because I've also done more than 100 character renders for various parts of the UI work that is currently going on.

Speaking of the UI, it's starting to look very good! Plus, in addition to just looking nice, it also includes the photo gallery that I've been promising to make for more than a year now - this will include all of the photos that the MC gets sent / takes of the girls. Just in time for cosplay photo shoots with a certain tiny redhead to begin! It should be in a complete enough state for me to give you a deeper look at it in the next dev log.

Finally, I mentioned in the previous dev log that my itch.io page had been taken down after their bot falsely identified me as a spammer. Well, it took pretty much all of the last two weeks, but I'm happy to report that it was reinstated in the early hours of yesterday morning! It's yet to be seen if this will do any harm to the game's long-term performance on there, but I'm honestly just grateful to have it back up.

And that's about it for this one! As always, thank you guys for supporting the game, and I'll speak to you all again in a couple of weeks.

Alright, so by looking at he picture, with the MC and the Kitten sitting against the wall in the shower, I'm assuming she had sex properly with him, and that's why she's so clingy. I'm not surprised that it happened in the shower either, and for her, it makes the most sense.

And it sounds like .11 is coming along strong, the updated UI and the addition of the photo gallery is only going to make an already incredible game even more awesome. Can't wait to see the finished product in another 6-8 weeks or so. Greatly looking forward to it.

Very excited for the next update, I was expecting an Akatsuki sex scene and maybe some scenes with Sarah doing some cosplay. I wonder if Sarah will be more confident when she is cosplaying, like she "isnt herself" when she has a cosplay on so she doesnt have to worry as much about the MC not being attracted to her, or maybe she usually would be more confident but because she has feelings for the MC she is nervous that he wont like it.
The picture gallery sounds like a good addition, seems like photo taking is going to become a larger part of the story.

Fantastic game! Will for sure subscribe on subscribestar soon. Hope it gets updated for many more years, the story and character development is very good!

But for now brought on Itch.io too, as just saw it was possible to buy it

I'm playing through the game (again, for like, maybe the 35th or 40th time overall since I got it a couple of months ago) and I'm up to the Misaki BJ scene in the bathroom at the station, and I'm thinking would Misaki want the MC to be the guy that's been playing with her?

Maybe I'm thinking too much into this, but as a chess player, I like to analyze things, perhaps to the point of excess.

1. Despite the MC falling asleep in class and her attempting to "save" him from failing, they generally get along alright, minus that little temper tantrum that made her cry and run off in the earlier parts of the game.

2. To Misaki, the MC shows maturity when it comes to dealing with Rachel and her accusations, like with her noticing Lucy's choker.

3. To Misaki, during the groping scenes, he does show kindness and consideration to her, as he does in the classroom, like when he's apologizing for being late or reassuring her everything is fine with the looks he gets about being a Founding Family head. He's mostly gentle with her during the train scenes and in the station bathroom.

There's a couple of more things here but going through this part of the game just now made me think about this. Once she finds out it's him (which I am assuming is going to happen with the next update) would she feel conflicted? Upset? Would she feel like she was taken advantage of? Would she say something like "I was hoping it was you," like something out of the movie "You've Got Mail?"

As much as the other storylines are interesting, I'm really thinking about this one the most before the next update. She probably has no idea of his interactions with Akari and Akatsuki (especially with the latter being his girlfriend). Mayne something happens in class that Wednesday that makes her connect something in her head between the MC and her "friend" on the train? Maybe he says to somebody in class in a gruff way "good girl"?

I also got to thinking, at the end of the scene, he tells her to go shopping for stockings and underwear, and since we only know of the clothing store at the mall, she probably went there. Also, the MC and his girls go that same mall on Tuesday, but never actually into the clothing store. This brings up the thing I mentioned a week or so ago about seeing the story from other characters' point of view. Assuming they went to the same mall, would they have seen each other?

Like I said, I'm a chess player, so I analyze things.

I agree she likes MC quite a bit from those interactions... I think she has no clue who it is and probably hasn't connected the dots that it's MC, but I do agree she will be pleasantly surprised and join his little harem. At least that's what I'm hoping for... I absolutely love this title and am here to stay until the end!

MC will probably hint it to make her wonder if it's him at first, since mc is kinda playful, so maybe he will do that. Then after being conflicted or be scared of the possibility, Misaki will observe MC, see how Mc treats his girls and maybe then she'd want MC to be her secret 'friend'. But for now she will definitely be conflicted,as you said.

I don’t like to analyze these kinds of things because I prefer to let the story surprise me rather than see everything coming, but this type of relationship in this type of game is fairly formulaic anyway (which is not a criticism against Cosy, just how I think about it). Until the last update, I would have said I expect her to start noticing telltale signs and connect the dots despite his attempts to conceal his identity.* Simply because it’s what creates the most tension/drama for the story. Even if she ends up being happy with his identity, which is likely since we’re talking about a harem game, there would at least be some inner conflict and discomfort for a time, and it would be interesting to watch her come to terms with it and be awkward in class in the meantime.

However, since in the last update MC gave her something of a veto/ultimatum (along the lines of "I’ll show you my face if you ask but only once you’re ready to become my slut irrevocably"), I find it more likely that Cosy is setting things up for their experimentation to continue to progress as it has for a while until she feels ready and makes the call. Realistically speaking, she could still very well figure it out on her own, but from a "meta" standpoint I feel like it would be an odd plot thread to set up and then not use... except maybe if she is not happy with the revelation.

So yeah, I can still see it going a couple different ways, but since we’re talking about a love interest and not some sophisticated intrigue, I don’t necessarily expect Cosy to go with the "subvert expectations" angle and lay down tracks he’s not going to pursue

I mean, this is 100% accurate with how I think. She's standing by the window every single time. Realistically, she could've just looked up, noticed it was the MC, and turned around, but then we wouldn't have this story, but I agree. I also think she would've seen the blue sleeves on the MC's school uniform jacket.

I don't know, or well, I hope that the MC doesn't string Misaki along too much longer. I'm assuming they're going to screw in the station next time and that's when she'll open her eyes. The MC hasn't gone down on any of the girls yet, so I doubt he'll start with Misaki.

He fingered her, she blew him, so what's the next step then? Gonna keep fingering her for two or three more updates until they screw and then she opens her eyes? I don't think so. I think that Wednesday, a lot of things happen, and Misaki's "revelation" will be that day.

I love everything Cosy has been doing with this game. It's the only VN I have installed on my hard drive because to me it's the best one out there and I've played shitloads of em. I don't want an immediate payoff with Misaki, but with how the meeting in the bathroom station ended with the stockings and the lingerie thing being suggested to her, I think that's the "payoff" visit

For myself, I wish the teacher content was skippable.

Not the most popular opinion but I kinda get it, most games focus on breaking boundaries in the sexual context such as incest to make a story and approaches like that is getting old and boring. But Misaki as a character is not bad, a controlled child exploring her freedom, her control. She is bores the mc to death, and now he got the chance to grope her with consent at that, it's a laughable situation. Though long term, she doesn't really offer much to the story, or in the future too, unless she has some incredible family and after having fun with her, she can't really be a maid since she is a teacher... or can she? hehe

Misaki is an interesting character And part of what makes her interesting to me is her extended family, including Akatsuki and Akari.

I am curious when she will be offered a choker and is it in the same style as the choker worn by Lucy, Victoria and Akatsuki?

Do Alison and Misaki get to wear the same style choker but in a different style than the 'girlfriend' chokers work by students to give them a measure of plausible deniability?

Does Alison voice this concern and the MC tells her that she gets the same choker as his other women - take it or leave it?

I want to see the side character commentary about Misaki wearing the choker that the MC overhears:

Alison and Misaki complimenting each other on the other's new choker and then saying that they seem to have the same preference in... both women share a big smile...

Brian complaining that MC must be getting preferential treatment since the teacher and Headmistress are wearing chokers from him.

I can also see an interesting conversation when Akatsuki and Misaki, both wearing chokers, tease Akari and tell her what she is missing out on.

I like the choker as part of the story dynamic and the subtext regarding who knows what the chokers mean and the recognition that some of the women will have for other women who are wearing those chokers.

I wonder if Annabelle or some of the other women interested in the MC will start to wear similar chokers, thinking that this is a fashion statement made by his LIs for the MC and not understanding that this is a statement of relationship status - something earned by the women and a statement of the level of the relationship they share with the MC.

I don't think it will be four, probably something like 7-8 main girlfriends. We know the main 4 by now, so the others I am going to say are Hannah, whom Lucy wants the MC to "help" out of her current situation; Allison, who already said being married to the MC wouldn't be a bad deal; Catherine, who has made her desire to marry the MC obnoxiously apparent; and maybe Elizabeth, my only real reason for this is that the MC would have a girlfriend/future wife* that comes from each family.

That leaves Misaki (teacher), Akari, and Rachel to be the not girlfriend girlfriends.

*8 wives does seem like a lot, but there is a story reason as to why the MC would marry them.

Personally, I think 11 GFs is way too many and I've said that before. The main 4 should be the ones that live with him, but the girl from his past is coming back too, so we're looking at a dozen girl(friends). I'm going to assume Hannah would/could move in, dunno about the Princess, but even still, it's way too much, but I'm not getting into that argument again, even though I'm very big on Akari and Misaki being a full-fledged GF! The others, minus Hannah, meh!

That's the one thing that bothers me about this game and it always will. Other HS games like this (Harem Hotel) also spread the MC too thin, and this game is basically that game, just set in a cafe and not a hotel with the same premise of helping girls with their problems.

As a sidenote, get Trump's fucking face out of this thread!!!

Personally, I think 11 GFs is way too many and I've said that before.

It's a harem game, 11 is on the low end. From what we've seen so far it's safe to assume everyone will get their screen time but this genre isn't set up for hyper focusing on your favourite LI even if it's not a KVN.

As a sidenote, get Trump's fucking face out of this thread!!!
