I like her as well usually the ubiquitous catgirl is kinda grating, from the first lick I dug her though. Maybe overplaying the 'hmn' in her dialogue though, at least for me I'm struggling to understand what actual sound that's conveying or why she does it so often.

A kinetic novel where you have to click on doors and arrows... Isn't that the opposite of a kinetic novel? Maybe I STILL don't understand f95's tags.

That's no longer in play after the 1st bit... Only was a factor in initial release all new content after that hasn't had the clicky clicky. Dev was pretty resoundingly "no thanks"d for that on initial release and opted out going forward iirc. Much to my pleasure. If I wanted clicky clicky I'd play StarCraft or something.

Glad you like it! I did play around with depth of field and a more cinematic style of lighting when I was experimenting with the graphical changes for 0.2, and it certainly made everything more impactful and epic looking, but I felt it didn't really fit with the style of the story. Overall I'm pretty happy now with the new shadows and skin textures, though I'm gonna keep looking out for more improvements as I go.

day 3 of talking to myself in my cosy diary =)
I continued until ingame day 6 today, where they practice serving customers. stopped before victoria gets punished for mistakes by taking clothes of.
I enjoy that the dev understands the difference between whiteknighting and just being kind. the casual application of maledom in conversations, like just calling vic a little slave for fun or asking her if she prefers to be called "my bitch" instead of "a bitch", is fun and erotic for me. the MC is so well written as a dominant guy. its extremely rare for that not to sound like a edgy kid. 10/10. no wonder the scarface poster is there. for me it would have been arousing and totally fine if the groping scene with the teacher in the train would have been a bit more dubious consent or even no-consent. this game reminds me A LOT of clannad, in a very positive way. *hidden thread bump* I am glad I saw Cosy Creator in this poll in off-topic about being dominant/submissive and checked the game out because of this. the realistic normal clothes the girls wear (fitting well to their character; non-prostitute clothes) make the game feel more realistic and immersive, and also more erotic when they then take them off. similarly I appreciate the normal colored hair of the people. this is my favorite MC of all games so far. only other MCs that are similarely enjoyable are from desert stalker and our fate. if there exist others im glad to hear it though. like it that the MC goes hard on victoria/others sometimes and denies the 'pussy pass'. the MC carries himself with so much calm confidence, its very relaxing. only now realized how much I missed seeing conversations between feminine submissive girls and a masculine guy.

Interesting you say that about clannad - it's easily my favourite anime of all time, and the only anime that made me play the VN it was based on. So maybe that's coming through in my own work?
And no, no pressure from your posts. I'm enjoying reading your thoughts as you gradually play through it!

I enjoy the kinetic novel style btw. always sad when development time takes 300% or so more just to do all the paths, or one sees only 1/4 of the update. to have a nice dynamic involving everyone is lovely

yes, clannad stood out for me because it also has this rare setup of non-doormat/dominant protagonist while being at the same time very wholesome and doing a lot of good deeds throughout the story for others without doing it just for getting pussy or because he can't say no to cute girls. while never losing respect for himself. I like that a lot =)

day 4 of lending this thread some company by continuing my cosy diary =)
played only within day 6 today - from the beginning of the strip-serving-practice to hugging lucy
before coming here to write I was taking a look at another games preview pics... and just seeing the masculine assertive woman doing her masculine assertive thing in one pic with tatoos and guy haircut made me scramble again. yikes. made me instantly aware again what a blessing this game is. was wondering already why I felt so unusually calm the past days. must have been the healing normality in this game lol *rant off*
was enjoying how mc was taking in deliberately the beautiful views presented by the undressing girls, instead of the usual nervous peeks and then apologizing profusely. I think the dev does a very good job with the posing, especially since this seems to be his first project. One of my favorite games has a longtime HS visual artist (who considers posing his strong point) doing the renders, and I think the posing/body language in Cosy Cafe is not much behind. Taking a look at another HS game made me aware again how much I enjoy the low-key facial expressions here.
its nice for a change to let the girls chase the mc in a believable way. 2 more chad points for the mc for not letting the girls do the usual strip BS with shoes and socks lol. and a deep prostration for not having to farm 'love points' with the LIs! heh. while I usually dont care to see the DAZ models nude in games, the Honey Select girls look so sexy and cute at the same time. *special hidden thread bump* like how the stripping played out. since the characters feel real it was very enjoyable to see bit by bit more skin. the bra thing lucy did was interesting, as well as how mc let vic only off the hook at last. gladly I didnt feel blueballed here, but I thought it would have been fitting for vic to let her show her tits. With lucy it was better like this. I felt the hug scene with lucy would have been a good opportunity for mc to go in for a kiss, but I look forward how the dev will handle it instead. I generally like the realistic slow burn so far. I missed at no point unfitting H-scene inserts. I dislike dream scenes but the lucy one was done in the best way possible [basically spoiling nothing]. I kinda hope there will not be more dream scenes,but i think I caught a glimpse in the CGs of a vic one [it was no dream scene but awesome. also there will be no firther dream scenes, dev said =)]. btw over 2500 renders in v0.2 (!!). thats very generous for a start.
I was hoping so much that effort was put into showing the food and the cooking in a nice way, and I'm very happy how was done so far. the meals look delicious
