Finally, why should the MC trust any of the other families? His grandfather had a wife from each family divorce him, so it wasn't Gloria alone who destroyed the grandfather, it was all the families in a planned effort. Mr. Gilbert must have had an aunt or cousin that was married to Mr. Fletcher, so wouldn't he question what happened? I assume the rest of the non founding family wives were gold diggers, so no wealth, no more point in staying. I'm trying to remember, was there the one wife, the MC's grandmother, still in the picture? I replayed the whole VN recently and still can't recall if mentioned at all.
from what was said, I understood it as Gloria having a scheme to manipulate the wives into leaving MC's grandfather and return to their family. it was very secret as even Gilbert didn't know the truth when the wife from the Gilbert family divorced, they must have come up with some kind of excuse to avoid Mr Gilbert's questions. if the marriages were just political from the start, their loyalty was always with their own family anyway, it was not that hard to break the whole harem apart.
There is no detail about MC's grandmother, but from that story, we can speculate that the grandfather met her after he was broken, and she fixed him. that's why MC got the upbringing he had.
First, the character bios page. I kind of wish that the LIs that are current, meaning pretty much Lucy, Victoria, Akatsuki and Sarah, (maybe Catherine, Alison, Hannah and Misaki) would be the only ones featured on that page and the rest of the characters be in the side characters bios. This would mean we wouldn't know that Rachel is a future LI, or that Akari is a future LI, and that once they became a LI, they would switch over to that page.
it removed a lot of the suspense of the story, for sure, but many AVN fans prefer to know before hand the official list of LIs. Though the list can change during development anyway. We already know that MC's childhood friend will come back, and there was a debate over Annabelle or her becoming an LI, and she won
so the list is not set in stone in this game.
The MC at this point isn't really in a position to be making any sort of demands.
he is from a founding family, so even without being a head, he can literally put anything to a vote. additionally, he is the head of his family, he seats at the council and he has to power to vote... trading votes is the basic of basics in that kind of political environment. he IS in a position to make demands and more, especially since he is the tiebreaker, unpredictable because unknown value. that's why they all try to buy, influence or remove him.

but why there's no mentioned of MC's parents and why MC was raised by his grandfather in first place
plus being destroyed can be both physically and mentally

really ? dude, you forgot his whole story...
there IS mention of his parents... it's literally how he can quickly bond/empathize with Lucy and Victoria... his dad died before MC could remember him, and his mother was a shit parent that went to jail when he was 13, that's why he ended up with his grandfather in the first place. and for the record, the grandfather was MC's dad's dad.
it's easy to guess that, just like Victoria's father, there is a huge chance that MC's mother will show up in the story demanding things from MC.
if you forget important stuff like that, it undermines everything else you say.
yes, being destroyed can mean anything. but we already know it doesn't mean killed. first, because MC's grandfather wasn't killed. and second, because if it is widely known that she killed her brother, she would be in jail. at least, Gilbert would see to it.
