Finally finished 0.12... Really good Update. I like that there is a decent character development for Catherine, I somehow like her and I like that her character is now displayed less selfish, even tho you can say that it was probably the best for her character that her family ended up poor.

I hope we get some more character development for Rachel. She is portrayed as very unlikeable, but she is a main LI so chances are high that there is some tragic backstory behind it. And I would assume that this will 100% be the case, that something happened which made her like this. She probably also does not have any friends at all, which is probably the reason why she got so upset about MCs decision in 0.12, because if MC would have done what he first wanted to do, she would have been some part of a group (or so she thought).

I'd like to think that once Cosy is done with introducing us all to Rachel's real story of why she is like the way she is alot of us are going to be like DAMN ! I didn't see that coming at all !
I mean look at what we all thought about Catherine to begin with and then Cosy throws in this incredible back story of what she is really going through and why she has to do it .
I know I said once before all she would be good for was to be chained to the end of the bed and used for a sex toy but I think there's going to be more to it .

well its likely there is some backstory for rachel's behavior, then again its possible she just grew up into being who she is without some dramatic backstory reason.
it could be parents who neglect her upbringing or like lucy a controle freak parents only not abusive and she emulates their behaviour.

honestly i'd prefer Rachel not having overly dramatic backstory as all other LI's already do.

Another great update, as always!

I like how the first day had all of the Takamuras. The scenes with Misaki were great I love how the MC is trying to get her to be more daring and come out of her shell. I wonder if she will end up being involved in the cafe. She's shown interest, but I don't really see what roll she could fill. The scene with Akatsuki under the table while Akemi tries to flirt was also a really good scene. I'm looking forward to when we can finally rematch her and hopefully win this time.

The scene with Catherine was definitely one of the standout moments of this update. I always liked her, but I see her with a new found respect, knowing that she's trying to support her little sisters. At the same time, I've lost some of the respect that I had for their father. Before, he came off as a well meaning but naive man, but knowing now that he's neglectful towards his kids, completely changes things. It also gives me more respect for Catherine's decision to pursue the MC, because she's not just doing it for herself. I'm now torn because I want Catherine and her sisters to move into the cafe, but I don't know if it's really the best environment for little kids. Well, it's something to think about.

The other standout of the update was the photoshoot with Sarah. There was a lot of build-up, even in this update to it, with how she was acting uncharacteristically romantic. I'm glad that we finally have that payoff and she has officially become a girlfriend. I wonder how long she's going to play double-agent. I am starting to feel bad for her mom because she seems to be somewhat unaware, but she doesn't seem to be willing to actually put in the work to figure things out.

The scene with Rachel actually played out exactly how I wanted it to play out. My feeling about Rachel seem to be pretty much exactly like the MC's. That once again has me curious how she's going to become likable. It seems like she may have took what the MC said to heart, so this is likely the start, but she has a lot of work to do.

I'm really looking forward to the double-date with Lucy and Victoria. No matter who else is introduced, they'll always hold a special place in my heart, since we pretty much started the cafe with them. I'm also curious who the new waitress will be. If I had to guess, I would say either Rachel or Elizabeth. I think I would personally prefer Elizabeth, but I guess we'll see.

I would prefer Annabelle, Rachel doesn't have MC trust

I am not aware that Rachel is into rape play. It may well be the case, but unless I missed something, she could just as well be seriously rape-phobic while seeking the security of a male protector and being prepared to be dominated by him. In any case, this was just intended as a quick and dirty example of circumstances that would turn our attitudes to her around very quickly. Similar to what Cosy did with Catherine. I trust him to do this the correct, sufficiently cosy way.
