True, but after her betrayal, MC was IMO too quick to forgive her and bring her in. Not at all bothered he did it, but just thought it was a little too quick on both counts.

A perfectly valid opinion with which I disagree. For me, the key question is simply: Was her remorse genuine? MC thought it was, and so did I. I think under those conditions forgiveness after punishment is exactly right. But this is one of those subjective things; the feeling of it worked for me, it didn't for you. Legit.

I didn't get the feeling the MC gave much of a fuck about the "betrayal" per se. I'm pretty sure he says something in the line of "yeah, I guessed it was about my grandfather recopies". He cared about her and how she felt about him, mostly because he was pretty sure it wasn't an act.

As far as LI's go, Lucy is the one who I can't place the easiest. Attitude and personality is nearly top tier. Smart, shy, and yet simultaneously adventurous sexually are all top tier traits. Looks are near the bottom, she's got the most unorthodox facial features. Tits are obviously big and a decent butt, though hips are lacking. But i think her wanting to please the MC too much that might be the part that makes her so hard to tier. Girl that only values MC's wants/needs/desires vs. girl that seems so passive. I dunno, it might be a bad explanation, but the plot seems to happen to her, not because of her?

She's at the top for me, though I think Sarah is challenging her (and I say that not yet having reached the end of this update). As you say, attitude and personality are fantastic; she's written to be instantly lovable, and it works for me. I'd call her looks "cute"--and very much so--rather than "pretty" or "hot." Big tits don't do anything for me; Kitty or Catherine or even Rachel are closer to my preference in that regard (though I otherwise can't stand Rachel). But I guess "good enough" looks, combined with a great personality, are enough to put her at the top of my list.
Insanely bonkers and not at all factual theory: Rachel is actually MC's cousin, as she is also the MC's grandfather's descendent. The reason she is so bitter towards men and a staunch feminist, is because Rachel's mother resents the fact that she didn't have a father, because MC's grandfather left the town after the whole scandal/plot to drive him away, and therefore poisoned her daughter's mind against men.

i had a similar thought actually. rachel being a distant cousin/half-sister because of the multiple wives thing, but what weve been told so far is that the MCs grandfather was "ruined" because his wives left him. as for how that happened we dont know all the details (yet?) but its possible that gloria manipulated one or more of the wives into thinking badly of the MCs grandfather. after all everyone who mentions gloria so far has said shes a ruthless shark. like you said though this is all purely speculation based on the little information we do have. i do love speculating about this game though theres so much going on
Your idea has a lot of potential! How about this:
At some point, the MC has a lucid dream in which he time travels to the past and becomes a friend of his grandfather who really existed. Something like that is a good idea anyway because it gives us a flashback that makes past events less abstract for us.
In his dream the MC meets Rachel's grandmother, who is known to have had only a single child, and he has a chance to sleep with her. At this point we have an actual choice between two overt incest-free options and a secret third and fourth one that only happen in the minds of incest-loving players:
- If the grandfather's friend sleeps with Rachel's grandmother, then this friend becomes Rachel's grandfather and MC and Rachel are not related.
- Otherwise MC's grandfather also becomes Rachel's grandfather, making MC and Rachel cousins. Knowing that, MC excludes Rachel from the harem before ever having sex with her, and finds a good alternative solution for her.
- (only in players' minds) Like 1, but thinking of MC actually time traveling and therefore being Rachel's grandfather. MC has his own granddaughter in his harem.
- (only in players' minds) Like 1, but thinking of the dream as not conveying some deeper truth about the past as MC thinks. MC's grandfather is also Rachel's grandfather. MC and Rachel are cousins, even if MC doesn't believe it, or pretends he doesn't believe it.

Lucy is that trusty sidekick in a heroes story. Like batman and robin, supportive and there for mc when she needs to be. Her need to pleasure MC comes from the fact that he saved her, she mentions it a few times so i don't think the unquestioning loyalty is misplaced.
