hmm i think you should replay the scene where the MC meets with mr. Gilbert again.
he's most definitely not "content" in doing so im sure its better framed as "a sacrifice"
and it was also said that he warned Gloria that any mistreatment off hannah would instantly make the gilberts her enemy.

there would be no rape ,its a arranged marriage which would make hannah brian's wife ,and she's not some dumb bimbo ,she comes from a FF she's fully aware off what comes with that, she's surely been raised/instructed on a FF wife "duty's".
she can say "no,i won't do it" at any time like alison. and no i don't buy into that coercion/blackmail narrative ether.
because just like her father, its a "sacrifice" hannah is willing to do ,framing it any other way is just belittling hannah into being agreeable/submissive pawn for her father ,gloria and brian.

again i'll say brian is NO RAPIST!
yes hes a sleasy asshole, but there has been no indication that he rapes girls,at most hes trying to buy their time, our uses them because they want to get close to a FF heir.
he's a spoiled brat riding high on his family's name ,position and wealth which he's simply using that to (try) bang girls, like most highschool boys in his position would.

simply calling a guy you dislike a rapist without any indication or proof isn't something anyone should do,please save that for the feminist rally's

Also, the scene with Harriet where she conveys that Gilbert actually is "rooting" for the MC to succeed in his plans for Hannah and is why she recommends a deadline for action towards that. Both Hannah and Gilbert are acting on self imposed duty and honor. Hannah towards her father and family and Gilbert towards keeping the "sharks" from taking over.

Has this game always had such close ups during conversation? I've never noticed it before but now I'm wondering because once you see it, it almost becomes this game's signiture. I don't think I've seen it in any other AVN and it's really cool.

It caught my attention this update during the outfit contest while the MC talks with Catherine. A lot of the shots of Catherine are taken from where the MC's head realistically is. This close distance combined with a the narrower FOV of media rather than the eyeball results in an almost "Oblivion zoom" effect, where Catherine's head takes up nearly the entire frame.

I'm guessing (with no actual knowledge I should add), that most devs see this happen when they first go to render, decide they don't like it, and add some 'space' to the shot by actually taking it from further back than where the MC's POV truly is.

If this is true and it is a deliberate decision on Cosy's part to not do that but instead stay true to the MC's POV, then I really like that. It feels a lot more personal which works well with the more intimate conversations.

Of course, I could also be entirely wrong which would be rather embarassing after four paragraphs.

When the MC is literally lying on top of her? Yes. However that has only happened a few other times in the game.

I'm going through the competition again and I have to say, I really like Chloe, and I actually felt bad that she got triple zeros. I never really thought of her as bad as Mika since the first few versions. She's never sneering at the MC, and she even smiled at him as he walked out of the gym after the Misaki meeting at the pool.

I really don't think she's that bad. It was really nice seeing her in the competition. Maybe she'll drift away from Brian and Mika? I very much hope so. Lucy blacklisted Mika, not Chloe.

Chloe isn't bad, also, Akari's friend Samantha is kinda cute. But then I remember, that we're almost 3 years into development. And 4 girls aren't really introduced as LI yet. So I hope that Cosy will stick to Victoria's 10 girlfriends limit.

Samantha is very cute. When we first met her she was about to ask us for something before Akari interrupted her. I'm really curious as to what it was.

Yep, it's deliberate. Though I think that one where Catherine leans in to whisper to the MC in the goth contest was pushing it to the extreme. Normally for physical movement/touch like that I tend to give a third person establishing shot before cutting back to the first person perspective that tends to hide those things off camera, but I felt in that scene that her sudden closeness was completely stolen away by going for a zoomed out third person shot of her leaning into the MC's shoulder.

Considering Cosy has been explicitly pointing out her reactions as different from Mika and Brain's - she is probably gonna switch sides at one point or another. But yeah, I felt bad for her too - she did have one of the better outfits and in general has been completely inoffensive so far. But at the same time, the only two people who might have had the inclination to put a good word for her weren't judging (Vicky and Hannah). Personally I think, that if she was Mika 2.0, Vicky would have kicked her ass out and wouldn't have even let her compete, but that's just me.

I always wondered is it me, or is the FOV in first-person shots... restricted? Humans generally have 120 crisp vision cone and the POV's here kinda look like 90 or so. Just curious if it is intentional or if my mind is playing tricks on me.

120 degree tends to come with quite the fisheye lens effect on a computer. Not even sure if studio neo v2 supports it tbh

Samantha's adorable and my top non-LI favorite, and I was hoping that she would show up for the competition. Even Tori was cute, but Annabelle was stunning. If she becomes a waitress, I wonder how that'll change the dynamic in the cafe since she's completely unaware of what happens there.

It was also very nice to see a little more of Akari. If she had a little screen time in each update until she becomes more involved I'd be very happy. The MC did say they might even need a third person in the kitchen. Akari's definitely that, but probably not until he beats her. Probably during culinary school that'll happen.

Sorry for the double post, I was just going through the Lucy scene post competition. He says to her that he hasn't had her that way before (meaning naked over his lap) when in truth he did, the night he blindfolded and plugged up Vicky and the Kitten.

He also had her over his lap the night that Sarah had her first punishment. It was the same night he took Lucy out for the first time, but maybe he means it's the first time she's been over his lap on the bed. I guess it's all in the way it's worded.

Replayed the new update two times now and seriously I can't express enough credit to this dev. I already am a Patreon for a while and I must say please keep making more content and never stop. Everything is done with so much care and the girls are all so different in personality and character development it's really amazing. Lucy is the star of this VN she is absolutely perfect.

Yeah but she's been a horrible and nasty person to Lucy and other people. She did look lovely but having a nice costume doesn't take away the hardship she put Lucy through with the constant name-calling and being a horrible bully.

She was a bitch to Lucy & Vicky in the beginning, but so was Catherine (and initially Vicky), and look how that turned out.

Also, even putting aside whether she's a good person or not... giving her a couple points wasn't gonna place her on the podium. You can begrudgingly give her a 1 or a 2 for genuine effort and she won't come anywhere close to an actual prize. I think that's largely the point people are making.
