here is my unofficial Android port of Couples v0.28-SE.
download both files, install and run the app, the rest happens automatically.
however, you still can copy the assets pack manually to the folder
from now on my Android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like Windows. if you uninstall the app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore it needs the permission to access the public external storage (or a new one on Android 11+), because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.

KoGa3, as someone way more versed in coding who has looked under the hood a bit at this release to update your mod for it...any idea why a bunch of saves that are not mine (from last week in December when we haven't seen a public leak since 0.26 a couple months ago) show in the Load menu?? Is there anything about this leaked version to be concerned about based on what you saw when poking around inside it?

I didn't used those saves provided with the game download, and actually deleted them myself since I have own ones on those save slots. My guess is they were only forgotten to be removed when making the game Zip file.

Is there a known problem with the Win/Linux version of 0.28 Special? I downloaded, installed the usual way (on my Kubuntu system, just extracted the .zip). I found the .sh file and the binary it executed didn't have "execute" permissions, and after I fixed that (trivial) the game started up with saves several pages past my last save from 0.26 -- and without my MC name choice. And I don't recall the default name for the MC being Finnish (Lasse) -- though being Scandinavian in origin would make Katie being Swedish a bit more sensible...
EDIT: D'oh! Should have scrolled back a couple more posts, those are leftover saves. I didn't try reloading from my own last save.

Never saw a scene where two sexy women go clubbing and they are not approached by any men. Even if they seem to be lesbians, there would have to be some social interactions. I guess to please the anti-NTR mob the developer made sure that the FMC's don't have any other male interactions.

Not really, it would just be a pointless scene of them being approached, saying no thanks and carrying on with their business.
Wouldn't really add anything.
