Actually, the grenade isn't activated until the spoon is released. The pin is there to stop the spoon from being released while the grenade is in your pocket or in storage or wherever else one might put a grenade not currently in use. If you pull the pin out, you can replace it as long as the spoon isn't jostled.

That said, the spoon is much more sensitive to jostling, so it's generally extremely unwise to pull pins from grenades you don't intend to immediately use. All it takes is a slip of the thumb and you might turn into pink mist. There's a reason they don't have new recruits in boot throw grenades any more.

After finishing the first chapter, the background music on the homepage is so beautiful. Does anyone know which song it is?

Cradle Dev Log #4

Hey everyone,

First of all — sorry for going quiet for so long. Two months without updates is a lot, and we know many of you have been wondering how things are going. Thank you for the patience and for checking in on us — it really means a lot. ❤

After releasing the previous chapter, we took a short break to catch our breath and process everything that followed. We just needed a bit of time to reset emotionally — but that’s behind now, and we’re back to work with a clearer head and fresh energy.

At this point, we’ve outlined exactly what we want to show in the next chapter — the key story beats, the emotional tone, and how the player’s previous choices will influence events. The general dialogue structure is already drafted, and few of the new locations are ready. Right now, we’re deep into rendering — the visuals that the next scenes will be built around.

While the previous chapter focused on world-building and setting up the Cradle universe (maybe even a bit too much at times), the upcoming one will shift the focus toward relationships — more personal moments and a natural move toward romance and intimacy. It’ll be smaller in scale but richer in feeling — less heavy story, more heart.

For our supporters, we’ll also be sharing a few sneak peeks soon — just to give you a taste of what’s coming next.

We truly appreciate everyone who’s been with us through this journey — those who comment, share thoughts, or simply keep following our progress quietly. Your messages, kind or critical, are what keep this project alive.

Thank you all again for staying patient and for believing in what we’re building. ❤
See you soon in the next update.
