I hope this dev in the future hires an artist, cause their games' concepts are really good, just they're jank and ugly to the point of unfappability. That's not exactly a low bar to overcome in 3d. In 2d, at least "bad" art can still work well enough - but in 3d things like clipping, jerky (not in the good way) animations, flat textures and lighting and more can undermine it very easily.
