The previews on the Steam page look like they were made by AI, particularly the images of the neighbourhood and the one with the characters with the old house in the background.

However, the previews in this thread don't give me that feeling; they look like more elaborate renders, as if the Steam screenshots were from an older version .

That’s right. The version on Steam is an older one, made with AI. That iteration of the game was thrown together in just 4 days to make it to NEXT FEST. Now the game looks different, and this updated version will be available on Steam later

The issue is that I didn’t realize it was NTR until someone pointed out what that term actually means

Okay, so, I've seen devs say this and then it turns out they called netori NTR. Since you didn't know what it meant before someone explained it, just to see if this is another one of those cases... is an LI of the MC going to be stolen away or have sex with another man? woman? Or is the MC going to take an LI away from someone they are currently in a relationship with?

Several minor mistakes:
1. Inconsistent names. Juls <-> Jules; Skylar <-> Skyler
2. Valerie's name in her English text box is in Cyrillic letters.

Suggestion:
1. Add a text options (speed, skip, history, etc.)
2. Please don't make the younger brother a hacker or a photo pervert.
3. Some character trait points don't make sense. For example, leaving a conversation gives leadership. I was expecting bravery.

Sorry, I didn’t express myself clearly.
There will be NTR elements, but they won’t be the focus. NTR won’t be introduced at the expense of the storyline. It will only appear in one optional story branch, and players will only encounter the NTR path under specific circumstances

Please add this information to the developer notes. It will save a lot of time for people who don't play games with this type of content.

Edit: Going to put this long post in a spoiler tab. Seems like dev might have been misusing the term NTR. We’ll see, but this is what I had said before and depending on how things play out could still hold true so keeping it here for the future if needed.

yah im the same way, People like what they like. Perfect way in my books is, "do you want to enable NTR" at start of game hit "no" and every choice, or scene that has anything relevant to NTR is hidden from the player/excluded from that pathway.

Just aslong as dev makes it so that the NTR choice is like a whole separate branch of the story and not something that is forced onto them.
ie: some devs will say NTR is "avoidable" but it still happens in the story and its still part of the story as a whole, so it wasn't really avoided, you just didnt watch the scene happen first hand. Character still got blasted down and you willingly let happen and supported it thats no good in my books. Branches FTW.

A game with no goal or end goal and a no set of defined milestones to get there is dead on arrival.

I don’t want to sacrifice the storyline just to please everyone—it’s impossible anyway. I hope each player finds something in this game that resonates with them. But if they don’t, I’m not prepared to overhaul the game for every person who says, “I want this.”

This needs an `AICG` tag - just look at her hair changing within the same shot and pose, that's not how DAZ works, lmao.

Same goes for this shot - it's so painfully obvious it was retouched with some "AI", making it look like every other "macro shot, Russian-made*, generic slop with no clear direction and piss poor writing".
* It's all the same post-FX they use with tons of sharpening and forced DOF.

Given how quickly the developer put this on every imaginable platform (including the god awful Steam page), I sense a quick cash grab that's abandoned roughly a year from now.

Lol, fastest backtracking and a dev getting caught telling fibs I've ever seen. And hitting folks with the, "I don't like it but the story demands it."

the story doesn't have a will of it's own, it will not "demand" anything and nothing will "fit" or not unless you want it to. You created it and every aspect of it. Period. If you don't like bestiality then that will never show up, even if a character has a dog because if you don't want that content then it wouldn't even enter your mind to have that as a plot line. If you rule out incest, pregnancy, necrophilia, or scat, those will never show up, and if you like them and want them, then they will be part of the story and you will make them fit because you are in control. You can't blame the story for choices you make, you created and control every aspect of it. You wouldn't add NTR if you didn't like it at least a little bit.

All having this element in the story is going to do is drive away a bunch of people, and it will not even bring people in, because you've already said it won't be a focus. So, either the NTR fans will get board and leave too, or this will become a lie and you'll end up adding more and more NTR to try to attracted those fans since you drove everyone else away already.

And you won't be doing this with other fetishes I bet. And by the way, optional paths and side content is a false promise, it never works for many reasons but let me give you an example using another fetish:

Jade is right here, you aren't going to please anyone with a single NTR story line but you will forever lose any fans who dislike it for the reasons I give above.

Now, maybe Ryan is correct here and you are still "confused" by what NTR is and means. It happens since the site definition isn't the same as the real definition from Japan, and it isn't the commonly used way of thinking about either, and some people will use NTR for netori as well at first until they see that the site doesn't group them together. So I'll ask a similar question in another way and see if we can get some clarity:

Will the Main Character be the only one having sex, on or off screen, with a girl who is or can be a love interest after the story begins or will there be times when a current or possible love interests is shown or clearly stated to have been fucking other guys or girls during the course of the story?

This is the crux of the matter, people who don't like NTR hate seeing or even hearing about girls that the Mc can ever be involved with being shown, or hearing about, having sex with other people. Any sex that doesn't directly involve the Main Characters is a no go for them and will make them not want to play the game even if it is an optional scene or theme with a single girl, the same way that many players will never play a game with even a single scene of bestiality, scat, or necrophilia. People who don't like NTR see it as just as gross (to them) and off putting as those tags and will not want to even risk a moment of being exposed to the content even by accident or by hearing about it.

Anyway, just my two cents on the matter, or maybe two dollars considering how long it was,

Hi! As I mentioned before, I didn’t fully grasp the meaning of NTR. Some folks use it to mean cheating, others see it as cuckolding.
There will be cheating in the game. Whether that counts as NTR is up to you to decide.
I’m not going to throw everything into the game at the expense of the story.
