That's partly why I quit playing the game quite a while back. Mostly because the updates are very small compared to quite a few other games I play that average between 500 to 800+ renders per update. I know it's a visual 'novel', but a lot of devs forget that the visual part of it also needs to be there. Plus, I think the MC has been written as a simp for the most part with the annoying inner dialogue that seems to happen in a lot of games.

I think this dev tries to update more often with smaller updates as compared to some games that add a ton of stuff but it takes like 6 months.
Have to admit I kinda prefer the longer update cycles that add a bunch of content to this trickling amount of nothing.
But usually there's at least a sex scene. This update didn't even have a titty.

If you are that needy for sex, there are options
a) visit a brothel or convince your partner
b) stroll the net's multiple porn sites
c) read an AVN that is more focused on the lewd.

personally I agree this update was kinda shitty and short BUT Im quite ok with the lack of sex scenes. Im more irritated that the protagonist's face was aimed in hina's direction yet he failed to even notice her GLOWING let alone floating.... that was just sloppy as fuck lazy as writing.

I first assumed it was some obscure reference trying to be funny. Since no one has explained so far, maybe it wasn't just supposed to be funny?
Possession would be kinda harsh, honestly. Especially if done to Hina. So i do think the tone would have shifted somewhat to reflect this.

dev seems to be proud of the story heaviness, but the story quality is pretty mid so far

The dev should do away with black screens entirely. All too often they use black screens with several lines of text when its completely unnecessary. If they don't want to show the next screen yet, just leave the previous. Black screens are boring, and just generally awful. They make the game worse.
