Given what has currently been revealed about the MC's abilities, is anyone else getting the impression that he could be either a Myth Hunter or a Divine Avatar (a mortal chosen to be a God's champion during some sort of conflict)?

I don't remember the lines but it's already been confirmed that he is some kind of avatar by dialogue
I'm of the opinion that he could be both, which could lead to some very interesting interactions with P.O.O.P. and The Church, not to mention The Children Of The Coming King and whatever the green-eyed being might be and whichever group that he might be with.

Am i just having a terrible brain fart or who the fuck is Machi? The phone shows some silver haired girl who i don't remember and this girl looks like Nene only she got the same treatment Jun did... i am so lost... who is she? Was she in the hotel and i just can't remember? I have a rolling triad of saves as a backup and replace the oldest with the newest at the end of the latest update and even loading the oldest before i replaced it, so 4 updates back, she makes no appearance... man, this game has way too many characters, even with the updating phone profiles i'm still getting horribly lost cause a year or more can go between appearances for many characters...
Who is Machi? And please provide more explanation than what the phone profile provides, what scenes has she had? Anything significant to jog my memory?

You're brain farting on this one (no offense intended). Machi is the Anzou-runaway that's been involved in all main story content since the apartment was ransacked. Including lore drops like about the heirs explained by Kuro below (Machi on lefft).

Yui scene was great. MC should've licked Aki's fingers clean after though, he was too uninvolved in it. He could do with being a bit more assertive when he's with girls who he likes that are clearly fucking into him. It's one thing to not be pushy but he's outright playing into the oblivious harem MC trope a little too much imo. It took a probably black out drunk Aki trying to fuck him for him to realize she actually likes him after a whole ass evening of her heavily flirting with him.

The MC is dense as fuck and can't pick up on anything unless someone directly tell him. He is the worst detective ever. I don't think he has detected one thing this entire game. He couldn't figure out what's her name was a dog even though it's super obvious and he's too stupid to figure out Mei's whole deal. It's really frustrating.

The story is great and extremely frustrating at the same time. I swear the dev gets a massive kick out of the MC asking questions we want the answers to and then the other characters just brush it off. The king of dragging things out.

just something im wondering about, am I the only one with Mac that has a problem opening up the file for the new update, and if I am, then if there's some kind soul that would kindly tell me if I need to do something to open it would make me really appreciate it
Download this script. Once you unzip double click the script to run it and then drag the Crimson High application into the terminal window and click enter. The script will fix the permission issues.
