this game has alot of 1970's Village People type clothes and "gay cowboy" stuff going on fashion wise..lol...also..ton of tracebacks..old saves not compatible?

Sorry for the problem you faced but old saves are not compatible so I added a choice trace for new updates...So start a new game and you will get the option to select which episode you want to play after you enter your name and a bit of instruction. Thank you.
Do not start the game by loading the previous save, start a new game and after the intro you will get the option of which episode you want to play. Then select whichever episode you want to play. Loading previous save will give you error.

i think the issue was that I replaced the script file...
now I redownloaded the game without the script file and everything runs fine!
should probably remove that file from the OP to avoid more confusion
For the 4th episode the animation for Lina was swapped with susan's animation. The script fix is to solve that mistake. Other wise both script should work fine.
