I would like to test the newest version before considering investing. Since it sounds promising in the above post.
We have a public demo available and which has over an hour of content to try the game out and see if it interests you. The latest versions of the game are exclusive to our supporters on Patreon, so the only way to play it is to pledge. At least until somebody inevitably uploads a pirated version.

What is a mating press????
Mating press is similar to a Missionary sex position, it is commonly a more aggressive sex position of the 'Missionary' known to most Hentai and other Porn videos and other pornographic materials and are often seen in most modern porn movies.

In visually explaining it by words, imagine the female is laid down on her backside and the male pushing forward his body over his partner, pulling her legs upward in a way that she is being slammed by her partner's hips vigorously.

IN a more easier way to let you know, here is an example image of that:
1583342353856.png
It could be any creature or a man, but on contrary this is how a mating press should look like.

As far as i've been playing the demo without being pledged to their patreon (I'm very sorry) they have not yet done any sprite with this kind of position or even on their CGs.

We don't have bad end scenes at all, so no, they won't have bad ends. If you mean *CG scenes in general*, then the answer is maybe; we are considering giving them CGs, I just haven't been able to decide how I want them to function since unlike regular enemies, boss sprite sex scenes can't happen mid-gameplay, so CGs and sprite animations both need to be activated in some other way (namely from the camp). Having a sprite scene AND CG separately activated from the same menu seems odd and wasteful, so I've been trying to decide for ages how I want to handle them to make boss scenes interesting and unique. If I had the budget for it I'd love to do animated CGs for those scenes, or just very high resolution pixel animations, but unfortunately we just don't have the capability of doing that at this point, so I need to come up with something within our budget/capabilities.

understandable, all of thismakes sense, thanks for explaining it! Sadly i dont relaly have a solution myself, because i dont really understand the limitations , good luck in fixing it up tho. Hmmactually, why cant boss srptie scenes happen mid game?

was the "no bad ends/ gameovers" decision due to budget as well or simply because you prefer not having them?

The boss sprite scenes are from when sex in the game occured without consent when you got knocked down by enemies, they happened when you were beaten by the boss on the restart screen. Personally I prefer how the game is now when its a decision on your part - haven't really tested that though - since it lets you heal up Alicia... I think.

I think for boss CGs I suggest that it should really depend on the boss in question, kind of like how the poison alraune has a different CG scene to the normal one. I don't see the giant worm things you fight being something Alicia would want to visit, whereas the summit boss and the warped sniper on the other hand given their similarities to other enemies in game would make for an interesting conjugal.

It doesn't have anything to do with the old non-con systems, I always planned on not allowing H-scenes during a boss. After all, back when we had non-con, enemies could knock you down for H-scenes, you didn't HAVE to completely die to regular enemies to see their scenes, but with bosses you did. The reason for it is pacing. H-scenes mid-fight slow down the pacing of combat, which I didn't want to happen during a boss, where the combat is at its most focused. It just happens to work very well with the new mechanics that let H-scenes heal you, since it means you can't infinitely heal during a boss.

As gemini pointed out, we used to have non-con, but I always hated it. The only reason we had it was because I didn't really think about it when we started development, and I just followed what every other H-game dev did. After working on the game for a while I realized I hated that system, and I would rather have things be consensual, so I planned on doing that in the future. I wasn't going to change CPE, since I didn't want to upset people who liked the game the way it was, but Patreon started cracking down on non-con stuff and I didn't really have a choice.

(The following is (mostly) a copy-paste from our If you like what you see, )

Hey everybody! As usual after a big update release, I took a short break to relax and recover from the inevitable stress of pushing out a big update. As of this week, Crisis Point v0.39 has officially begun development, and we've got a few things to show ya already!

Parallax-Water.gif

First up, as you can see above, I added some new wrinkles to our water. The observant among you might notice that this effect was sort of shown off in a previous weekly update, but the camera didn't move or anything - that's because the effect was still extremely WIP and didn't function properly. Now, though, it's all done! The 5th area is going to be heavily water focused, and unlike the Deep Soil where water is contained to individual sections, the water here spans the entire place, so I decided to use some of the new programming tricks I've picked up over the years to give the place a nice parallax effect. It'll be even better once we have a proper parallax background to go with it, but hopefully you can already get a feel for how it's gonna look! I'm stupid excited for it, personally.

newenemy.png

Next up is a quick shot of the first enemy being introduced in this area! The sprite's not completely done yet, and I'll probably do some touch ups to certain things like the shape of some crystals, but the general concept is there and I really like the way it came out.

Alright, that's all I plan on showing off this week. I also did some writing and planning for this update, and Orex is hard at work on the Kertalus normal H-scene (he's already made a lot of progress on it, but I don't plan on showing it off just yet), so this update is already off to a great start.

Friendly reminder that we do a lot of this work on stream throughout the week! You can watch us on Picarto ( and Orex streams when he's able, but I try to stream consistently every Monday/Wednesday/Friday. Naturally, you'll get to see some of this weekly update stuff early at the streams while I'm working on it, so if that interests you at all then try to come by some time! Thanks for reading, see you next update!

Downloaded 0.37.1 from the first page. Super enjoyable game so far. Controls feel good (using a controller), the platforming and combat is fun, and I'm really like the world. I think I have all of the available scenes unlocked at camp, and those are all very enjoyable to watch as well (additional kudos to the voice actress). All the CG slots in the menu seem to be filled, but there are a few platforms for the sprite sex room(s) that are empty. I assume those will be filled out later, though (if applicable).

I really appreciated the "submit to sex to heal" mechanic, since a couple of the enemies can really kick your ass if you're not careful (like the Lurker, for example). I also like NOT having that as option for bosses, and having their scenes be unlocked back at camp after beating them (or by losing, I guess, though I didn't lose, so can't confirm that), since like you said it lets you focus on just beating them and not worrying about needing to do something to trigger a scene.

I was a little surprised and slightly disappointed that the males of that alien race down in the catacombs didn't have H-scenes that I could submit to for healing, but I assume those are coming later, maybe (and they weren't too difficult after figuring out their attack pattern anyway).

I did find a bug early on, however:
You may have already fixed this in later builds, but after finding the scientist and unlocking the teleporter next to him, when I tried to travel back to the camp using that teleporter, it crashed the game for me. I did use it to successfully save beforehand, so all I had to do was re-load, but trying to use the teleporter immediately after saving the scientist crashed the game, which I assume means that the teleport option isn't supposed to actually be unlocked yet at that point. Either way, I made my way back to the camp on-foot instead, and after that the teleporters all worked fine from then on.

Thanks! I appreciate all the kind words and I'm glad you enjoyed the game so far. You're correct about some things; the empty platforms in the gallery rooms are for future enemies, and the Male Torguis are getting H-scenes (they got one in v0.38, which came out recently for our $10+ patrons). The bosses don't give H-scenes on loss though, since I don't want to incentivize losing fights. The warp crash was fixed in v0.38 as well, but it actually isn't because the warp menu is unlocked too early, it was a crash that only happens the very first time you open the warp menu after starting a new game, no matter how far you are in the game when you do it. After that, opening the menu on subsequent loads wouldn't crash anymore. Either way, it's been fixed since then so ye

Something tells me that new monster is going to have a very interesting h-scene that i can't wait to see.

I understand hating non-con , its not everyones tea, i personally like bad endings but i get why not having thme in a non VN is good, because then people dont play the game they just die on porpuse and download a savefile. I like it, keep it up, and happy developing!

I didn't get the problem. Why can't boss work just like normal enemys, the sprite scene being activate on the doors, maybe in an alternative room, with entrace in up-side of the room corresponding to that world, and the CG scene has been activated when we speak to Birch? I guess it's already like this way in the gallery.
Maybe you can even make the boss being restrain in some fun way on their alternative rooms, and not loose like normal enemys. The worm could be like in a chain belt, and the tar could be in a pool or something like this, with a new sprite that shows they're dangeruos and they're arrested; and the sprite scene happens when Alice touch they, maybe with a little animation of they being released.
